I am still debating whether to get it or PCDJ. The one I am using now sucks.

I have both. My bf uses PCDJ red at work. Even though it is PCDJ's older version, he prefers it's search engine and stablility. You have to use PCDJ Groups with it though. (Have that too) However, "If his machine will tolerate it, the PCDJFX program is really nice."

I used Tractor, didn't really like it. PCDJ is what I use mainly, and while the FX version is nifty....you honestly don't need all the bells and whistles. Red VRM works just fine. There are too many little teeny buttons you can accidentally click on and fuck yourself up on both, but moreso on FX. I'm gonna be trying out all sorts of new programs shortly, I'll keep ya posted.

Thank you both for your replies.
I could care less about bells and whistles. I want easy to use search functions, easy to use individual folders for dancers, and less little buttons that will fuck everything up, lol--especially since I haven't been using a mouse recently, and the touchpad will sometimes 'click' just when you least want it to.
Nothing is worse than making a big deal introduction for a special dancer, and then having her song vanish on you entirely! Or getting the next song ready and positioning the cursor over the 'forward' symbol, and having it click on to the next fucking song.
You can say it's a computer malfunction, but no one will ever believe that, you just look like an idiot, lol.
The program I have been using is terrible (partly I think due to a bad download). Sometimes on one or other of the 'players', you will click the song to play it, and the entire fucking thing plays in .5 seconds, no kidding. The folders stopped working months ago, I have to search through my very poorly organized music files (in three different locations) for the songs, every time. It would actually be easier to burn the fucking songs from the computer and the harddrive, and use CDs, lol!

Regarding Serato: Love it for spinning, not so much for strip club DJing.

BPM Studio has worked flawlessly for me for like 4 years now. Not one single glitch or hiccup. No extra features to hog system resources. Ridiculously simple and rock solid. Plus it's free all over the web.
