looks cool, let us know how it works!
I have been thinking about buying that!
It looks like a version of the kind you get from ardell. The ardell one doesn't help me at all.
I don't suggest buying one of these devices, they make it even harder to apply them!
^^^ I agree. I like to use a flat point tweezer to apply my lashes.
^^me too. I don't really use them anymore since I quit dancing, but I used to buy the individual ones and it only took a few minutes to apply them. The way I did it was drop a little glue on something (like plastic, cardboard, etc), take the eyelash bundle out with the tweezers, dip the end in the glue, then stick it just above the last line starting at the outer corner working in.
Yeah, I don't know how to use them properly. I just use my fingers.

While I love the way false lashes look, I hate the way they feel. They always(whether I do it, or a makeup artist on a shoot does it) seem to poke the corners of my eyes...mostly my left eye. I am always hyper-aware of them which is REALLY annoying.
Sucks because they do make me look glamourous!! (and every makeup artist I've worked with uses their fingers or a tweezer)
People always ask me, did I ever learn anything when I was a stripper? Yeah, I did. One man plus two beers equals 20 dollars.

Just remember...if the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off.
^^If you trim them, they won't poke your inner eye. I've used ones that are too long or have placed them to close to the inner corner and it is so irritating! Trim them down and they are fine.
Or you could use some like this just on the outer corner:
If I have some I don't like, I usually cut them in half and just use em on the outer corners. Plus they are way easier to apply.
Bah...save your money! I use my fingers and it works fine every time. If you're having trouble making it lay flat, a long fingernail or something pointy will work to push down the "spine" of the lashes onto your lid. The applicators I've seen and attempted to use are a waste of plastic.
I've had a cpl makeup people trim them down before applying and only put a bit on the corner like you said....they still poke me. My eyes are prob shaped funny...like a millimeter off normal. Not enough to notice, but enough to make shit like this annoying! It would just figure.

Try those outer corners ones then. They give a similar effect.

I have tried the cheap one from Ardell and the $12 one from Japonesque. It worked nicely on one eye, but on the other one...my hand was in the way- so couldn't see what I was doing! I couldn't move my hand out of the way either because I couldn't get a good grip onto the device. What a waste! I guess if I could've used my left hand to apply the lashes to my right eye it would have been easier.
You can always cut your lashes that you buy in half. Hell target makes the kind that seperate in the middle! so easy to use. I think it's NYC brand to be specific.
I dont thank that brand is just with them...
but that's where I buy the shit.
On the other hand, those devices SUCK BALLS.
I always put the glue out on a ceramic saucer ( I have one I use for this shit and my latex ) ..both clean off easy once dried.
I then run the seam of the lashes in it and fan it a lil' dry I apply outer corner inwards. I always rub my finger tips off on the towel to get the lash glue off really quick and then just dab with my finger tip at the lash line.
Works like a charm. Wait a few seconds before fully opening your eyes but flutter them incase you got too much glue. You dont want your lids getting stuck together ( makes your eyes run. ) and I always apply all my eye makeup before my lashes including mascara ( at least 10 minutes before ) so everything holds the glue even better.
Then I do the strippers best friend aka liquid eyeliner.
Ardell does make that lash device it comes with the "stripper starter kid " lash glue ,big overly dramatic fuzz lashes and device. Or by it's self for 4 bucks.
Save yourself the cash.
