    Default portland club "field trip"

ok, our students want a field trip! which i'm so happy that they want to do this! we want to maybe hit like 3 different clubs.

i want to try to have a variety...like rock vs. hip hop vs a little of everything...

what are your opinions on some good ones..especially with pole work.

we'll probably go to d2, which is better for seeing pole work...union jacks or devils point?

also, do you think if i talked with the owners (since we'll be hopping around) we could get like a group cover rate..or maybe have them waive the cover like if they all have a certain amount of drinks etc.. any ideas???

of course i know a bunch of women coming in can be kind of irritating .... however, we'll have a strip club "etiquette" talk and make sure they're all coming in ready to tip etc... all of these women have a new found respect for dancers after taking the classes..so there won't be any snitty bitchyness.

    any other ideas???

I would say Union Jack's; Devil's Point is a pretty small club. What about Acropolis? Exotica? If you really want to knock their socks off, take them to Mary's on a Friday night to see Blaze -- she does some awesome, awesome pole stuff.

I'm sorry I'm out of town for this! Have fun with the field trip.

Definitely Union Jack's, since it's easer to accomodate a large group. I'll bet that if you talked to whoever the manager is when you approached and made it clear that your ladies are well behaved (as in full of tips and drinks, and not just oglers!) then it would help. Too bad Lush is no longer around, since some of the best polework I've seen in pdx was there. (Wonder whatever happend to Sonya & Adriana, who often did dual work on the same pole!)

Oh, that girl Sonya was amazing! She had the fiercest upper body strength I think I've ever seen on a dancer.
