Default How Much to Buy-out your Shift?

Let's say you have a reg who comes in on, what is typically, your 2nd best night of the week and would like you to spend the rest of your shift with him, say 6 hours. Assume you still do stages and have made enough to cover house fees and tipout prior to his arrival.

You can state this in terms of x if you like, x being your average amount you walk with on your 2nd best shift of the week. Drinks and convo for the majority of the time, occasional dances, mostly the last hour or so.

E.G. if x= $500 would you give up the hustling for 80% ($400)? Or try to compensate for the lack of opportunity to find a big spender by wanting 1.5x ($750) or more? I think the potential of your club to deliver a BIG night would be a factor - say 4x+ ($2000+) vs. a club with only a 2x ($1000) potential. Let's also remove the twatwaffle factor, he stays within your rules and is, at the least, tolerable to you. Sorry, but I just wanted to type that word one time.

Hmmm, well I'm the type to ask for MORE than my average, because if he's willing to spend, I may as well ask for a nice amount, or at least bargain a bit. However, if he's already one of my big spenders, I may ask for 80%, like you said, just as a goodwill, marketing move.

I guess, most likely I'd ask for my expected, average, after tip out amount.

Oh, do you want a specific number?

I'd ask for more. If he's offering. Let's see, a good night would get me $200 an hour just doing repeat dances. But I'd lose some time working the room and taking breaks. So although I could technically make $1,200, I would ask for $1,000. That seems nice. Keep in mind, 6 hours is a lot of time, it would be a different type of hard work to keep things interesting that long!

80% of what I'd earn doing dances seems fair, unless he's annoying, then full price!

I'd go for 200$ an hour minimum as well, but I'd only do it if I didn't have any better prospects and I really enjoyed talking to him, I still got to go on stage, and there were at least 4 hours left of the night. If it's a busy night (thrs, dri, sat), or I have prospects or there are 2-3 hours left, the rate would rise.

The thing is that I would prob prefer to do dances for the majority of guys coz to be honest it's harder for me to fake an interest in their conversation.

But that aside there have been few custies who were actually interesting to talk to so I will keep them in mind when answering.

I don't think I would be happy with less than I thought I could get but then again I wouldn't have to hustle and wouldn't have to put up with other dickheads so yeah 80% would prob be ok.

The more important question is how much YOU think 6 hours of her time is worth.

One of the fun parts is seeing how interested you can keep them in with being with you. Just make sure not to lead them on, tell them if and when you want some dances. If you keep a girl busy she usually stays around you, especially if you can make interesting conversation to pass her time. To ask a dancer to stay with you only seems like a bad idea. What happens when someone gets bored?Time could go real slow and then it's no fun at any price. It is better to buy for their attention and not their time.

Well, presumably you would only make arrangements to buy a shift (as opposed to an hour or half hour) because you knew her already.

it depends on the guy and how much i *think* i can ask for. with the right person, i would ask for a bit more than i expected to make. i'd say, time and 1/2. however, for someone who i know isn't in that spending range, but is a good regular who i know isn't a hassle.. i could go for 80% on the right night.

it's all based on what i think they CAN spend, how much of a pain in the ass they are or aren't, and how i feel that day (tired VS energetic).

I'd ask for a little over the amount I'd expect to make, to adjust for the possibility of a big spender.

I have been asked this before... When I first started dancing my first regular always wanted me to sit. I told him I had to make money so he asked me what I wanted to make. He offered me half of that number to sit for an hour. Since then I have only sat with a customer for 30 min to 1 hour. Hmmm, I like this question. I really hope it works out for you. The dancer you have in mind may feel differently, but I would sit with ya for the night for 400 to 450. I would continue to do my stages and one dance after each stage. Guys are always asking for dances at the stage, I would do one, as not to seem rude- I want them to remember me next time.
That is considering I have already made 100 bucks for tipouts. Some girls on here talk about having restaurants attached to the club so you can actually buy the girl out to a different location that is monitored. Sometimes I wish my club was set up like that. That night I would might walk with a little less, but hopefully I have enjoyed the convo and my toes don't hurt from floor dances.

You would not consider a guy offerring to buy out your shift a big spender?

^^not when you compare it to the possiblity of meeting a customer in the club. I'd much rather make $1,000 in the club than outside of it.

Anywho, I'd charge about $300/hr if was to be bought out for my shift. Some girls at my current club do it, but they are only with the custy an hour or two.

I do this a fair amount. Tip for a couple hours time (I'm not usually in a club all night). What I spend on a dancer really has nothing to do with how many dances I get. It has to do with how much fun I am having.

This thread interests me, because it is a question I have asked myself many times. I do not have an exact answer. I do spend a significant amount when I go to a club (I won't say exactly how much, but I am not sure I generally tip $300 an hour).

I know I am tipping enough for her time, because the next time I come in she plops down next to me without asking for anything. I take that as a sign that I am giving enough.

If he's spending what I'd average in a shift, sure he's a big spender, but the point is that on that particular shift I might have made significantly more than average. Who knows.

Anyways, I've only been offered the buyout once, and it was for my average exactly, and OTC. I said no.

But you also may make siginificantly less. He is a sure thing. Does that not change your perspective a bit?

oops....perhaps the word "curious" is better. "Inquisitive" can be taken a couple ways.

I see your point, and yes, that's why I'd only charge a bit more than my average, and not a lot more .

Honestly, it depends on the club and the specific situation. If the club is dead and no one's making money, sure I'd probably settle for less. If it's hopping and it looks like I can do well, obviously I'd charge more.

That is how I see it. I have been in clubs where there were 4 customers. Three of them stageside dollar tossers. The fourth being me. I know I am the only spender in the place.

A few dancers on this thread threw out a specific amount (i.e. $300 an hour, etc). Would I be wrong in thinking that if I showed up on an average tuesday night (assumption being that it is a slower night) then my $400 or $500 in your pocket for 2 hours, or so of your time would be sufficient?

On the other hand, a friday night would be completely different.

1000 to me plus paying my house fees and staff tipouts so about 1200 buys me for the night.

Considering you're not buying me offstage, full price!! Buying out the shift is....BUYING OUT THE SHIFT. I'd go for $1k (plus you pay the % the club takes from my funny money, so $1150) in the situation described - more if I haven't paid my fees/tipouts for the night. It does not matter whether it's a slow night or not - you should NOT figure that into the equation. Neither should you figure any intangibles like how "tolerable" you *think* you are into the equation. It is always tiresome to have to deal with the SAME dude alllllll night long. If you're gonna pay her for her time, then pay up or shut up.

Any girl who accepts some lowered amount for this is a lazy twat who doesn't deserve to strip!
