    Default Make up

OK, now i know this seems like a silly question but i couldn't narrow down the search enough to find anything. What kind of make up do you wear? I don't wear any normally and i'm completely lost. I saw one girl with really smokey eyes and lip gloss, do I just buy some black eye shadow for that? Some people seemed to have lots of glittery colours. Again i'm pretty broke so ideally some kind of simple look without too many products would be nice. I have some basic things (lip gloss, eye liner, concealer), but am really lost when it comes to what to do for eyes since i've never done anything. Also, are you supposed to wear blush? I wish i had payed more attention to this stuff when I went. I'm really pale with brown hair and eyes, so if anyone out there has any suggestions I'd love to hear it.

A really inexpensive and good way to do yruo makeup:
Go to the drugstore, and buy maybelene eye shadow. There is a certain kind that comes in a set of 4 colors, and it says right ont he makeup where to put it. Brow bone, lid, contour, outer corner. Buy one of thoes eyeshadow sets in a color you like, and put it on where it tells you to. Then line your eyes with eyeliner, as close as possible to the lashline.Finish up with some mascara, and make sure you pluck your brows, or fill them in. Nice eyebrows can make a look. Use some blush, use a light color, so your dont look like a clown.
Line your lips in a nude color, put on some gloss, and your set.
Simple, affordable, and it will look polished and nice.

When you get extra money..go to a mac counter and ask for them to do yruo makeup. You will learn a lot this way.

powder eyeliner (or just black eyeshadow) applied with a tiny brush (you could even use a tiny paintbrush from the art store) is PERFECT for lining the inner rims of your lower lids (and lasts much longer than pencil or liquid on the inner rims) and also is the best for lining super close to the lashline without leaving that annoying gap. it is very dark on the inner rims but not so dark on the outsides of your eyelids so i would suggest liquid or wet black powder over it on the upper lid for extra hotness. this is my secret recipe for perfect eyeliner!

You can always go to a MAC store and have them show you how to do your eyes. MAC is more expensive but it wears well and stays on so you don't reapply all night. If you don't want to spend alot. Have them teach you, and just buy one thing. One of the brands that you can get at the drugstore that works really well is HIP by Loreal. Goes on and stays on almost like MAC! Also, see if any of the girls at the club are nice enough to give you tips, or help you along with it. I know if somebody asks me, I'm always willing to help them with that kind of stuff when they're new.

If you set up an apt at the Mac store at The Bay they will do your makeup and show you how as long as you purchase $50 worth of stuff.

I ended up doing this cuz im a lost cause when it comes to makeup lol.

^^So worth it!! I'm actually pretty skilled at makeup, but I still do this when I don't know how to use something or want to learn a new look. Make sure you book this appt at a counter tho - stores charge the fee, but it is not redeemable in product. Counters, you get product.

go to the bookstore and check out the make-up books in the beauty and health section, i know Mac has a huge bible of makeup knowledge thats in print with how to do all the styles that you can use with regular drug store substitutions. burshes and technique are usually the differance. find a really nice but bored counter makeup girl that can give tips.
