    Default shoes

I just got a pair of stilletoes for dancing yesterday. They are 8' high. I have a wide foot and most shoes do not fit me at all. These shoes are a size 10, but they are still very tight around the toes. Is there any way to loosen them up without having to wear them for days? I have started walking around my appartment with them on. They hurt.

It is very hard for me to find a good shoe to work in. I am tall and I have a large foot.I am 5'8 tall without heels, but I was told by other girls in my club that I have to wear at least 4 inch stilletoes. My shoe size is normally 10-12.

Do they have plastic around the toes? If so you can heat the plastic up with a hairdryer before u put them on and this will stretch them.
If they are a regular vinyl or leather shoe you can take them to a cobler to put them on the stretch machine. I did this once for my bridesmaid shoes and told the guy exactly where they were too tight - it was a lifesaver on the day.

8 inches is a dam high heel! My limit for work is 7 inch but i prefer 6 inch or even 5.

They are PVC around the toe (so that shiny stuff).

I heard good things about blowdrying the shoe so that the plastic warms up and then wearing them for a while. It helps to stretch it a little faster.

If it's patent leather, you may be able to use a spray for shoe stretching. I used this spray (it comes out of the aerosol bottle as a white foam and quickly dries clear) on a pair of boots that I couldn't zip up, and 20 minutes after spraying they were fine. But those boots were suede...

But maybe this spray is good for patent leather too?

First hit off Googling "shoe stretchers:" http://www.shoeandfootcare.com/subme...FSUeGAodtRe8VQ

This site has stretchers that are for high heels.

I had some shoes (not high heels, but men's slippers) that were a little too tight, and I put three pairs of socks over some shoe trees, put them in the slippers, and left them for a week.
