    Default tanning after BA?

i'm getting a Ba in a little less than two weeks and the after care instructions said to keep the scars protected from the sun for up to 2 years. i'm not a tanophile or anything( and probly the last thing i need to worry about is tanning) but i do like little color and 2YEARS? i thought about putting a towel over them but that would leave really goofy tan marks. i could use fake bake but that always looks silly on me. Suggestions? also, what about stretch marks? the ones on my thighs glow white when i get a tan, will my boobs be the same way? how bad ARE stretch marks on new boobs?(going from an A to a D) and do they go away quick?

You can get silicone scar sheets which you can place over the scars that will block the rays. You can cut them to fit. As far as the breast tissue I'd place something over them for half the tanning time, the skin is stretched so it will burn more easily which is why they don't want you to tan it. As far as stretch marks, start using Palmer's Cocoa Butter that's made to prevent stretchmarks twice a day until the night before the surgery. This should help. I know people who have went from A's to F's and had no stretch marks and people who went from B's to C's and had terrible ones. Look at your own body to see how it reacts to growth and how many stretch marks you have now.

I usually just wear a bikini top when I tan, indoors or outdoors. I had a BA over two months ago, and started to tan a bit recently. I have very minimal scarring and haven't had any problems. But if it helps, I remember when I had back surgery, and I had(still have) a scar that goes all the way down my spine. When I would be outside by the pool/beach my mom would rub sunblock on my scar. That was almost 14yrs ago, and it looks fine. Maybe you can put a bit of sunblock on your boobs....please wait until the insicion has fully healed though before you tan.

I dont care for top tan lines, so I put sunblock on my scars, then cover them with tape(you can get first aid tape that doesnt pull on your skin when you take it off). You still cant see my scars.

And cocoa butter is the best for stretch marks.
People always ask me, did I ever learn anything when I was a stripper? Yeah, I did. One man plus two beers equals 20 dollars.
