I called the place I was thinking of working because I wanted to ask a few questions. After one the manager I was talking to started to take an angry tone, but I stayed polite and asked another one. He told me I was being stupid and then hung up on me! I called back (stupid I know but I didn't think I did anything wrong!) and explained that I wasn't trying to be rude I just wanted to know some things. He told me to go work at another club, and that I was obviously not interested in working there, said he had a business to run and immediately hung up again. When I went in person the person told me to get my licence and come back, I just wanted to know if I should come and expect to audition, or be able to work that day, or what? I didn't get an answer because apparently that is stupid? But I don't know because when I went in person the guy I talked to just looked at me and said I would be fine. Does this mean I shouldn't even go down there? I really don't want to spend another 300 getting a licence plus more on some clothes and stuff just to be told I can't work there! I'm already out almost 100 and there is no other club really in the city so the license would be a waste. Is this normal management stuff? Should I take it seriously and never go back? I just don't know why I got yelled at, was my question really that stupid? Blah, I feel so sad now.![]()

Good luck finding a club and don't let the jerky manager turn you off.
