Default To work or not to work...

Okay, so my club really wants me to work more than one day a week. Um, with my schedule, that's pretty impossible right now. However, I'm on spring break. So, I was going to work more. Um... But I'm lucky enough to have come down with something on my spring break! Now, I'm not dealthly sick... I have a sore throat and I feel a little feverish (but I don't think I actually am). Should I suck it up and go in? Where do you draw the line? Ima take an ibprofun and see how I feel in a few minutes.

Medicate herself and if she feels better, go for it? What? And make everyone else sick?

I say stay home until you're feeling better. Why go and risk getting everyone else sick?

Take your temperatue. If you have a fever, don't go in. If it clears in a day or so, it's not strept, but with a fever/ sore throat/ strept going around I wouldn't risk it...(you could pass it on, plus you'd feel pretty ill...)

    Get well soon!

    I googled and got this:

Strep throat is a contagious disease caused by infection with streptococcal bacteria. Strep throat symptoms include fever, pain, redness, and swelling of the throat and tonsils. Strep throat may produce mild or severe symptoms.

I've also had white spots on my tonsils when I had strep. It sucks.

lol, I think my thermometer is broken! It says I'm 96*! Stupid rite-aid brand! (grumbles). I'm gonna try to go in but take it easy and leave early if I start feeling worse than a sore throat.

Edit: Em, I had it when I was little and it was so horrible! I couldn't even eat soup!

Edit: Scratch that. I just read it and I probably wouldn't make money "taking it easy" at the end of the month. I'll text the head doorguy and save myself for my wonderful thursdays.

Thanks for helping me figure this all out in my head, girls!

I get so mad at girls that come in when they're contageous, or might be.

I have autoimmune problems, so the old you'll be over in 3 days is the one that'll keep me out of work for 12.

    It's selfish and rude.

Its the end of the month too consider that. I like to work the most at the beginning of the month also not to work at the end of the month with all the other girls scrambling for rent.

Rest, get better and go back after pay day (the 1st). Plus a whole bunch of military got back from Iraq.

    Or even make herself worse?

Sometimes doing something active and in an environment that isn't exactly the most hygenic of environments when you are not well can make you worse not better.

Does your club use air conditioning (whether heat or cold) alot? This can contribute to making her worse and cut into her money.

Or even if the club allows smoking within it... this can definatley make her worse.

    STAY HOME.

You will thank yourself for it in the long run.

That's how I am. I am one of the few people who thinks about not trying to pass germs onto others. When I had the mono last month, I didin't work for a FULL month! I have totally no money at all..I coudl've went into work and made some money, but I would've felt terrible knowing I'm passing those kinds of germs around to folks. It's not fair

I stayed home. I feel much better than this morning. It's definately nothing serious like strep.
