    Default Questions about this site

Why in the world make a site public to every person and then pick and complain about every single thing you post if you aren't a dancer?

What if I want to be a dancer later on?

What if I have a friend who dances?

What if, like I had said before, want to open a SC and am trying to get information and maybe even make friends, why so much do this and don't do that?

Why not make it a private forum for strippers only and or not just have limits to what you can access to a non stripping member?

I swear I've been here for a few days and most of you guys aren't very welcoming at all. I'm not here to belittle, make people feel bad, I'm just a normal person who happens to like making friends of all types and I am surprised on how fellow women can be so mean to another person they don't even know.

I went from liking the fact that I go to SC have a few drinks, spend some time with my husband and see girls dance and tip and have fun to now not even wanting to ever go to a club because of the bitchiness I see here.

Why are you guys so defensive? Shit I kinda got my feelings hurt

    can you give examples?

the only thing I can think of from you is where you said you wanted to open a strip club. We told you our opinions on it...that it was a bad idea.

Would you have rather told you what you wanted to hear instead of our honest feelings?

as for why it's public....so new people can join. This site is definitely pro-stripper and anti-everyone else....but it is called stripperweb. Anyone wishing to become a dancer gets tons of support.

You wouldn't be the first customer to come here and get turned off to the fantasy of SCs. But take it from our POV. This isn't fantasy for us. It's reality. And reality isn't always as fun.

Plus Stripping General is for strippers only. Non-strippers aren't supposed to post in there, so if you do...enter at your own risk! Customers have their own section.

first off, let me say that you shouldnt get your feelings hurt because this is the internet, and you dont "know" any of us since youve only been here a short time. so why do you care what anyone thinks?

second, i assume you're talking about the what wouldnt you want... thread. you were kinda rude, the way i see it, in your comments about how conversations dont evolve here or whatever. if you dont like it, leave. simple as that. other than that, i saw a post saying you should just post your questions elsewhere, problem solved. i agree with that.

this thread is probably going to get you more negative responses than positive, imo.

This site is (obviously) infested with trolls on a regular basis. I'm not saying you're a troll. It just makes people wary, I think.

No, I thanked you all for the honesty.

I post in a place and get, go some place else and this...

I don't mean to be rude, but there sure are ton of newbies coming on here to grill us dancers about our job, how we tick, etc. We are women, plain and simple. If you want to know, do a search. We've been "interviewed" many times before, and tips on how to run a club are here as well.

I guess what I'm trying to say is: please don't ask us the same questions you will find in searches, and welcome to SW.

and others I just can't find the damn threads cause I'm still trying to figure out how ot use the forum.

I guess I'm just a big idiot but damn it it's been a hard day, kids driving me up the wall, and house is dirty but I have no energy.

I just feel like if you want customers to be just confined to a spot then say it plain and simple, you aren't allowed any place but Customer.

^^ well, not to be rude, because i swear i'm not trying to be, but if youre having problems on here with someone you know in real life, dont take it out on the rest of us! maybe "dont take it out on us" is the wrong way to word it, but dont base your opinion of the entire site off of the comments of one or a few people.

i do agree, however, with your needing to do a search. you could ask someone, if you're having trouble, or the people you know in real life. any forum will expect that, otherwise it's just the same topics being rehashed over and over.

Just in case Return2thestage is my friend, we get together when we can, I love her a lot cause she's an awesome person! She was hte one who gave me tihs site and she was the one who encouraged me to open a club. Till a few weeks ago I had no clue she was a dancer and before that how I found out was cause I was talking to Collegegirl and she told me "oh Return2thestage is my mentour" and I said "WHAT?!" she's a dancer?" WOW!

I just thought we shared a passion for shoes! I'm a shoe freak.

Point is I came in here very happy cause I'm a Stay at home mom and don't know many people and thought cool a breand new group of internet friends and didn't expect it to be so non inviting

wait, so one person you know said something mean to you, you created a whole thread about how rude the people on the site are?

Do you think this is an effective way to make friends on here?

Why do you think we like shoes? Because we wear them at work? Yeah, we have so much in common.

    Remember....this is STRIPPERWEB.

Just take it easy. We get a lot of jerks, assholes, spammers, trolls, etc here. It's a great place but don't expect to fit in right away. It's like going to a new school, try to get to know some people, let them know you, etc. You've only been here a few days, it's how it was for me, and even for the most well known members here. You have to be patient and let people get to know you. It may be hard to find a place here if you arn't a stripper/have never stripped though. It might be hard to understand our topics or how we talk about customers, the lingo, etc etc. And making a thread about being disliked will most likely just make you even more disliked. Like I said just calm down, we don't do insta buddies here.

    No it wasn't that :sigh:

I don't know I guess it's cause like was said that people come here and troll around and I guess you guys are filtering people but it is the internet and it's hard to see emotions through a computer screen and perhaps I'm reading things without really understanding it. I have a hard time with that, the english the spanish, I am horrible with grammar.

I just wanted to be clear or well have things clear to me cause I'm having hard time understanding how things work around here.

There are many, many customers on this site that co-exist in harmony with the strippers.

I think you're being overly sensitive.

I don't think people thought you were a troll. You didn't post anything trollish.

I just think this site isn't very welcoming to non-strippers, and the ones that fit in here actually go out of their way to do so.

Yes that! Plus I didn't know that Return was a stripper, well she's retired but I've known her for 15 months and I had no idea, she made me laugh cause she said "wait my pole in my room didn't give it away?" I just thought she was adventorous(sp?) SEE NOT TOO BRIGHT!

I second that! It's been only in the last 6 months or so that I've been posting in any area other than Club Chat or SG, and that's because I was afraid I wouldn't "fit-in." No reason, just my own insecurities...point being, it takes some time to find where you fit in any community and a community based on stripping is no different!

exactly. i think your excitement about "a brand new group of internet friends!" is your biggest problem. read, and reread sc0101's comments.

Emily has it exactly right. I've been here over a year and a half, and I'm like the resident non-stripper on this site (not for too much longer, but that's beside the point).

You can't just go around asking all kinds of probing questions after a couple of days on this site...it's not going to do anything but land you in a heap of trouble with all of the ladies here. They don't take kindly to people asking the same types of questions over and over again because they hear it when they're at work as well as when they're here.

In the time I've been here I've been careful to stay out of their business talk unless it was something that I knew I could contribute to, and that's why I've been able to "fit" the way I have. There are certain boundaries that shouldn't be crossed on here (trying to avoid Stripping General, for instance) if you aren't a dancer, and you can make some great friends on here without having to be a dancer if you can learn to keep an eye on what and where you're posting and be respectful of this site.

Ultimately this site was created for STRIPPERS, and I think some people have issues understanding that.

I can easily explain why that topic didn't go over well, we're asked about our jobs on a daily basis and to be frank it's annoying. No one wants to answer the same questions over and over. To your defense I'm sure you didn't know, but now ya do.

Honestly, Corsica is just a straightforward person, she didn't say anything rude, and if you think she did, rehashing it in a whole diffferent thread is rude and childish OF YOU!!!!

I honestly think it's better when people lurk for a while, so they can learn how to search and pick up on personalities.... stuff like that.

If that was enough to upset you, you have no business even considering opening a club.
