I got a 4.0, a 1330 on the GRE, and I got into my dream school. At the end of the semester, burned out only begins to describe how I felt.

This semester I work 4 days a week and I find it really hard to study. I have spring fever I guess, but I am having a really hard time staying on track. But I am working to save money so my first year in my grad program I won't have money pressures. So far, I plan to live in a dorm (my parents agreed to pay ) and work as little as humanly possible.
Those are fantastic marks- why don't you have a scholarship??

stripping sorta, but not really, gets in the way of my work. i'm a perfectionist, so i prefer to have all As in school, which I do, at the moment. If i weren't dancing, however, on some nights, i figure that i could be studying...but then i really think about it, and come to the conclusion that i would just be doing something else non-school related. so yeah, guess it doesn't really get in the way

i only dance two nights a week

like someone else mentioned, i also make sure to only dance one weekend night, so that i can have time for a social night.

balancing fulltime school, visiting family, boyfriend, friends, and an internship is hard, but doable!

I'm the same way. I'm learning that the "flexibility" of dancing is my downfall. I have all this free time, and I dont know what to do with it. When I was working a full-time job, and going to school full time AND doing community service and active in orgs on campus yes my plate was full, but I was also so focused. Now I just sleep, go to class, get on computer, sleep and more computer and then sleep. That is my day now and it's gotta stop. I'll figure something out! This quarter just started so I'll be alright I think.

We get 75-100% funding starting the second year, first year is paid by loans. American grad schools in the sciences typically give preferential funding to PhD students over masters.

when i was in school i arranged my school schedule to fit my 3 night requirement at my club. But the 3 4am times really messed with my sleep cycle, so i missed a lot of class by oversleeping. Then again i was never a studious person so....

Stripping helped me in college. I did better than I otherwise would have because I had plenty of time to study instead of slaving 40+ hours a week at a crap-paying straight job. I was able to work once a week in school and had plenty of money.

Of course, now I wish I'd saved college for later and danced fulltime back then, and saved more money. I'd be in a much better financial position now if I had.

I'm starting law school in the fall, and haven't yet figured out my schedule, so I don't know what it'll be like then, but...

When I was in my senior year of undergrad, I took 19 credits, worked 3-4 nights a week(on school nights often), and got straight A's. I was tired as hell, but I damned and determined.

It isn't easy to balance the two things, but I've always figured, if it's important enough to you, then you'll make it happen.
