I found this on a forum over the weekend. I found several recipes, but I've only tried one so far.
1) Elmers Glue Recipe
After washing a clean face, dry off with a towel and apply elmer's glue to the area that is filled w/ blackheads. Apply a layer of glue on your face, concentrating on the nose area if that is a problem area for you. Let it dry completely and peel off as you would with a peel-off mask. Rinse what residue doesn't come off when peeling.
2) Geletin Pore Unplug Facial Recipe
Ingredients:
1. 1 pouch Knox Unflavored Gelatin (technically, I don't remember finding just a pouch in the grocery, they usually come in boxes. There are about four pouches in each box so this would be ample supply!)
2. Onion Skin paper, cut into 2x3" squares (or bigger if you prefer, for those areas like forehead, My forehead usually requires bigger squares
3. a small sauce pan
4. a small bowl to cool melted gelatin
5. a brush (optional, you can use your finger too)
Directions:
1. melt the gelatin in a saucepan, enough to make a thick paste. When the powder gets dissolved and turns clear, remove from heat.
2. get the onion skin paper ready
3. when the gelatin is cool enough to the touch (not going to scald you) , apply on your face.(you may use brush also)
4. Quickly "paste" or lay the onionskin paper onto the area applied.
5. When all your problem areas are covered, wait til the paper dries. You will know when it's time. You can channel surf, read or just close your eyes and relax while this process goes through.
6. Carefully peel the paper off your face...examine all the buggers uprooted (I swear they always stand on the paper!--grooosss!)
7. Wash your face with lukewarm water. Pat dry and feel the smoothness!!
3) Inside the Egg Recipe
On the inside of an egg is a little piece of "skin." It's transparent, usually located at the base. Peel it off and apply it to your nose or anywhere blackheads occur. It will draw out the impurities in your skin. Apply it fresh and peel it off when it dries. You may need to add a bit of water to remove it.
If I happen to find more, I'll add to this list! Happy Clear Skin ladies!!!
