    Default Gym or at home?

Okay so I am contemplating joining a gym and doing classes and weights? How do you go about going to the gym do you set yourself times that you stick to or do you just go when you have the time? I know its a pretty silly question but im just curiouse about other peoples gym habbits and how they stay focused to keep going all the time.
My other option was to simply exercise at home i have an exercise ball.

Do you think going to the gym and speniding the money (145.00 for 3 months) or staying at home and exercising is more befificial

Hunni without a shadow of a doubt join the gym. Trying to stay motivated at home is very very difficult.

If you know u have forked out the money you wont want to waste it.

Now as for getting motivated to get to the gym - the hardest part is getting there. I live on the same street as my gym and I still find it hard sometimes but once I am there I am ok.

Don't worry about committing yourself to a particular time, any time u can get there is a good time. But I know u have kids so if u want to use the daycare facilities they usually operate at specific times - for instance fitnessfirst does child minding at (I think) 9am, 10am, 11am etc. So just check with your gym.

Some gyms also offer free personal traininng sessions when u join up - take advantage of this if they do. I have just started personal training and it's fantastic and fun.

nah my little girl is no dramas as she goes to care tues wed and thur and i generally like to train at nights anyways like any time from 5-9 i guess im a night owl when it comes to getting motivated. I might just head down there tommorow and join up i think. I am also looking at doing the solarium 1 month unlimited access for 70 is that reasonable?

shit yeah thats an awesome deal! its usually about $12-$14 per session and u would want to be going at least 3 times per week to get results. I would do it.

I work out at home (I have a good variety of workout dvds) but only because the closest gym is like 12 miles away from my place plus traffic so it would take me too long to get there. But once a new gym opens in my area I'm totally signing up..it's more fun, especially when taking group classes.
