i've been a member a while - a year next week - but didn't want to post until I actually became a dancer.
I've worked all of march (well, 8 days of it) and come home with more money than at my old full time job makin $9 an hour.
I'm married, and I have a 2 month old baby girl and I'm breast feeding, which makes my boobs round and firm - a plus at the club.
But bad that they sometimes leak. my hubby and I are both in college, which makes working difficult since we don't have a lot of free time.
I decided to strip for several reasons, the first is money, the second is schedule, and the third is exercise. Sounds weird, but I generally think of exercise as a waste of time though i did it to keep in shape. now i get paid for working my ass of harder than i ever did at the gym. and for longer!
So...why don't I tell the story of how I told my husband.
I knew he wouldn't want me to start working at a strip club. A friend of mine did and I knew the money was good. I told him that my friend was working at a club and at the least, made $200/night
He said oh, like as a waitress?? that's pretty good!
and so I let him think it was at a waitress at some regular night club.
I go to work and bring home $170 - not a lot for a stripper and I was pretty bummed out.
But my husband was like $170!!!that's so much money for one night!! wow! but why don't you look happy? tell me all about it!!
looooong pause.....
well, there were a lot of guys.....gah!!! it's a strip club!!
i could practically hear his heart beating...there was a little listing of pros and cons, explaining the rules of the club, etc. and now he's fine.
and there was some shock...but he's doing better now. esp. since I make more $ than he ever did.
