Default Anyone Else Crack Themselves Up?

I think my BF thinks I'm crazy sometimes lol. I'll go off on laughing fits just thinking of scenarios in my head. Like today I was thinking while my computer was being slow and loading something, what if someone's comp was running super slow and then just.......exploded. lol. Maybe it's more funny in my head but imagining someone just sitting there after their computer exploded is a funny ass image. What would you even do? lol.

I get random giggle-fits occasionally and K gets really weirded out. Sometimes he'll ask what I'm laughing at, and I'll say I don't know, and he doesn't believe me... but I really don't know! Other times I'll just hear a particular word and think it's funny or just get some random thought and next thing you know, I'm laughing hysterically for several minutes. Yeah. I'm a 'tard. Glad I'm not the only one.

One time my BF said the word "patches" when he was referring to a past pet and I laughed for a good 15 minutes literally, crying, everything, and I don't know why lol.

I do the same. I find myself cracking up at work because of the odd things that wander in and out of my mind.

    Turtle soup.

Seriously, say it out loud a few times. This has been cracking me up for days. When Im pissy lately, my bf just tells me to say turtle soup, and it works every time. I can't NOT laugh when I hear this.

I remember I was talking to my mom about my little brother's death, and she was sad, and I remembered a really funny time we had together and burst out laughing so hard I was crying, and my mom was like why are you laughing?!?! This is very serious! Which made me laugh harder. I tend to like to remember someone for the good times rather than mourn.

I'm so bad with this it's not even funny anymore. I work construction and have actually started wearing a bandanna over my lips and face so nobody can see my goofy ass big cheesing. Man I swear it's the stupidest stuff too. Like earlier today we were talking and one of my co-workers was talking about how he talks to people on the phone while he's taking a dump. lol. I never got that, where the hell is he taking it. Seriously though I was fucking trying so hard not to laugh my ass off picturing that shit. Like 'Hey man what you doing?' ploop ploop. 'Nada, just sitting here.' I swear sometimes I think I need help.

haha i do this all the time! I'm really easily amused though. The other day I got a mental image of this time a dancer fell off the stage. It was hilarious when it happened, and out of the blue...I thought of it. And just died laughing.

one of those laughs where you can't breathe and your ribs hurt. Felt a little embarassed afterwards though because I was at work and this customer thought i was crazy. I tried to explain it to him, but that made me laugh more.

what's sad is that i know this happens to me, so bad that i get to the old 'silent convulsion laugh' but i can never remember later what it was that set me off.

oh, except for the time these two people crossed the street in front of the car wearing psychedelic shirts and drifting really slowly liked they were fully baked, my husband (a preppy square) leans out the window and yells, "FUCKEN HIPPIES!!" i just absolutely cacked the whole way home.

i imagined the hippies yelling back, "SQUARE"... but they didn't.

I think I'm one of the funniest people alive. That is, until I try to verbalize my thoughts. Then, I just sound like an idiot! But, yeah, I crack myself up all the time!

I agree. The first funeral I attended was for my grandfather, a charismatic man with a great sense of humor, and consequently a terrific salesman who founded an extremely successful business working with steel. Of course we were all sad, but there was a lot of laughter as we remembered some of the fuuny things he had done, etc. It was entirely appropriate.

Then a year and a half ago my best friend was murdered and my mom died within three days (actually the incidents were related in a strange and terrible way, but it's way too involved to get into here). I remember very well that even while I was in a state of shock, and of course in intense grief, there were moments where I was laughing with people who knew them, and also sometimes actually euphoric. Sounds crazy, but it put me in the strangest state of mind I have ever been in. They both loved life so much, and were so radiant and spirited--it was again entirely appropriate.

    Humor is life-affirming.

Yes I do this too. I love laughing so any excuse will do.

A funny incident happened on sat morning and everytime I think of it I just explode into laughter.

Someone was banging on my front door on sat morning and I got out of bed and when I first get up I cant focus properly - as a result of being tired and having low blood pressure and I looked out the front door and saw my uncle (so I thought). I yelled out to dad to open the door and he goes "no it's jehovas witnesses" and I said "no it's uncle kerry" and dad looked out the window to see 2 elderly ladies walking away and they left a brochure at the door.

Dad goes what is your uncle a little old lady now.

So I am absolutely pissing myself laughing coz in my blurred vision I thought it looked like my uncle coz all I saw was the glasses.

Then my bf said hey lucky u didn't answer the door they might put a curse on you and I said "no I dont think jevhovas witnesses put curses on people" and my bf said "well i dunno coz as soon as they came to the door I lost my erection"

My bf is currently asking me why I am sitting at the computer pissing myself laughing LMAO.

One of the stupidest funny things was me and my bf in line at Chic Fil A.
The guy in front of us ordered, and the lady behind the counter aske dhim if he wanted his pickle on or off.

I laughed about that for MONTHS. My bf even found me a pickle card he gave to me on my birthday that year and all it said was on or off?

It became out inside joke. If I wanted to have sex, I'd ask him if his pickle was on or off.

I still laugh about the pickle sometimes. That happened years ago....

So If Im out somewhere, and I see a pickle, and am reminded of this incident, I may bust out laughing for no apparent reason, and people will think Im nuts.

Back when I had a more pronounced case of social anxiety than I do today, I routinely would start giggling on crowded elevators. It struck me as funny that the people in this room (albeit a small room) were behaving as if they were alone. As my giggling got worse--and my fellow passengers assumed they were riding with a possibly dangerous lunatic--they would retreat further into their private spaces, which I found even funnier, causing me to giggle harder. Several times it got bad enough that I had to exit before reaching my destination.
