I'm a choc-a-holic, dammit, and staying skinny is a pain in the butt.
How do we all do it without major chemicals....herbs? not senna?
vitamins that speed up metabolism? Cheap exercise locals?

I use a combination of the Shangri La diet and plain old calorie counting.
No major chemicals for me, I'd like to keep my braincells, thanks.
Yee-up. Calorie counting and good ol fashioned exercise.
You can do natural things to speed up your metabolism and keep it up. Things like eating every few hours. Dont go to long without something in your tummy.
Always eat a good, healthy breakfast.
Drink plenty of water.
Exercise regularly to get your metabolism up, and keep it up all day.
Try to be active throughout the day. Little things, like taking the steps instead of the elevator, parking a little further away, even just figiting all can add up.
When your sitting at the computer, or watching tv, contract your ab or butt muscles, hold it a few seconds and release. Every comercial, do some sit ups. Try to jump rope the whole comercial break.

^^^^
Yep, I also try not to skip meals and have several small snacks throughout the day.
Exercise, unfortunately, is sporadic for me.

Balanced diet - which can include the occasional treat of chocolate.
Exercise - cardiovascular exercise.
you can enjoy dark chocalte as a part of a healthly life style just watch your portion a 4 piece portion of herserys extra dark is 210 cals.

Chocolate, in the long run, wont make most people look like Violet Beauregarde from Willy Wonka. Unless, of course, you're eating ONLY chocolate. By the pound.
You should be able to slightly increase your exercise per time you indulge to deal with it.
From doing various searches for calories.... lets say you eat chocolates in the 250 - 450 calorie range.
Doing dishes burns about 26 calories.
So does cooking.
When you walk around your house, cleaning, you burn about 34.
So imagine actual walking. Like, exercise walking. Even a leisurely walk for an hour is gonna knock off about 170.

Chocolate itself is actually good for you. It's just when they combine it with sugar and dairy that it's bad. To cut out the sugar and dairy part of the equation, I make a chocolate tincture by soaking raw cacao beans in brandy (1 part cacao to 4 or 5 parts brandy) for six weeks. You can start sipping it after a couple weeks, but don't strain the beans out for six weeks. It gives you that, "wow, chocolate" feeling.
(alchohol doesn't extract magnesium tho, which is one of the best parts of chocolate)

Oooo Lena! I wanna try that now!

Right now I'm trying to walk 1.5-2.0 miles per day! And I'm just about to come out of retirement right now...
My Twat is Wet!
what i found that works for me is drinking a chocolate protein shake for breakfast in the morning, a huge salad for dinner and then either a smoothie for dinner or another chocolate protein shake if im craving it bad.
if i want a cheat meal (like i had today) ill eat it for lunch and have a protein smoothie for dinner.

I do that multiple small meals, and lots of water. It's chocolate in my coffee that's still a challenge(don't like coffee plain at all). And I love Cadbury candy bars...I'm looking for a gazelle, I suspect their real butt busters? Has anyone used one with good results?
My Twat is Wet!

^^ no! a family friend has one and lets just say her kids play on it, that's how easy it is.
eat the highest % of cocoa chocolate you can handle. thats better then that creamy sugary crap anyways.yum!
other then that, just eat right.
i dunno, im a junk food junkie, and never excercise, i guess genetics plays a part too?
look for ranges like Lindt- they do an 80% cocoa range.
or it might be called bittersweet chocolate in the states? its not for evryone, some people hate the stuff, i loves it!!

Ya'll have no idea how much I wannawhen I hear folks assume that high metabolism = lucky. LMAO.
