    Where are those recipes, yo?
I always pulled my own credit report and handed it to the landlords. That way, it's not counted as an inquiry.

I have never given out my banking account numbers on an application (unless it was for a loan at a bank).

I'd give them a bank statement with all of your account information marked out with black.

Right on - I'm glad you aren't taking that little efficiency. A 1bdrm seems to be perfect for you. Good luck with everything!

Well, I went to go visit a 1bdrm apt today. I didn't take it. It was sooo tiny. Like, the livingroom, kitchen, and hallway STILL didn't make up the size of my current living room alone. I'm going to visit another apt. tomorrow. We shall see how this works out.

I seen them but I told the lady I was not putting my bank account number on that lease. She said it was find, but I think people do anything to screw you over these days.

Ok, just came back from viewing the other apt. today. It was a nice size (still not nearly as big as my current apt) All utilities are incld in rent, new dishwasher, and fridge, AND wireless internet is included as well!! This one looks very promising.

Wow! Here you'd have to pay $800-900 a month for a comparable apartment. the Coasts are so expensive.

And yea, Paris, living on the coasts is hella expensive!
Yep. You'd be paying $900+ for a *one* bedroom in a "nice" neighbourhood in downtown TO! As for coasts, I live on the coast... of a fucking lake! It's one hell of a big lake, but still a lake, none the less.

As for the bank account info, several people have indicated (correctly) that that appears on your cheques, so they'll have it anyway... I don't give it out before I start dealing with you financially though.

In my case, my credit is shot! I'll be dealing with individual renters I suspect. This otta' get interesting in the next few months.

As for credit checks, they don't need your account numbers for that. An SIN (SSN for you US folks) is sufficient. They are going to get the account numbers if you start dealing with them financially (aka paying rent), but they don't need them for simply applying...
