Thats pretty cool, but I'm not sure I would want to put acetone in my hair to remove them? That stuff is powerful.

I would totally do this if I knew the chemicals wouldn't mess with my hair. I heard glue is really bad for it. Am I right?

    Thanks for the link, Guen!

My old roommate used to do fusion and it was so convenient! We'd do each others hair. But yeah, if you don't take excellent care of them, they'll ruin your hair. You also need to give your hair a break from them. I wore them for 8 months straight so that probably helped my hair turn to shit. It's not so much the acetone that ruins your hair - it's combing out those bits of glue when you take em out. It pulls on your natural hair and weakens it. If you wear them for a month or two, then give your hair a months break, it should be okay. Whatever you do, do not let your hair get tangled at the root (where the glue is). That will really fuck you up. Great skill to learn tho, Guen! It's not that complicated, just really time consuming. And they are the best extensions to get aside from Great Lengths. (And clip ins!)

Wish we could see a pic! Are you going to get them yourself??

Usually made with a silicone base. They are not damaging if you have an experienced person ie. cosmetologist who is trained to put them in. My hairdresser does them. They take a while to put in, but the after result is phenomenal. They last a long time.

How long do they last? It seems so time consuming I'd hate to have to replace them every month or so.
