I was thinking about paying for the downloadable e-books. Have any of you got them before?? I want to make sure it's worth it first ya know? They seem credible. Let me know what you think.

lol.... dancerwealth is VERY credible....ALOT of SW girls have been on the courses and used their correspondance course thingies.

^^I would start dancing first, then invest in the course!
Good point. Just in case I don't stick with dancing. Glad it's reputable though.![]()
He is credible as far as not being a ripoff artist. You will get what you pay for. Whether or not you need (or already know) the information is a whole other story. How much do you know about sales?
I don't know much about sales which is why I was thinking about it. I'm better at customer service. lol
I'm reluctant to link the following thread about the course because of the drama you'd have to sift through to get to the info you want. (I am the poster Scout. I lost my password so I created this account.)
As for the ebooks, from my understanding they are compilations of the newsletters. The newsletters did not help me. They talked about getting a stripper business phone/email, telling your parents, walking to your car safely, getting incorporated --- info that I didn't need or plan to use.
As for the sales part, it really depends on your club. I think if you work in Vegas or a Vegas-style club, it might help you. For me, a majority of my technique came from Hustle Hut and other dancers who took me under their wing.
For me personally, I learned some things that helped me, and I did see an increase in my $$, but almost all the info I use most often is easy to find reading HH. I have the home study course, not the ebooks.

Absolutely worth every penny. If you don't understand sales, you will not succeed in this business.

Agreed. I bought the HSC and it did nothing for me. All of my increased $$ skills have came from Hustle Hut. Yea, it's time consuming to weed through the BS, that is why I would copy/paste sales pitches that helped me.
I also feel like with the way extras are so prominent w/in the stripclub the sales lines in HSC aren't helpful.
Some parts of the course were useless for me. For example, the girl "Jamie" I think was her name that was one of the speakers had no useful information for me. I expected the HSC to be all about sales..not about appearance, how wearing a gown = more money..stuff like that.
It also seemed as if the hustle techniques in the course were geared towards a slow hustle.
FWIW I think you'd be better off buying (or borrowing from the library) SuperFlirt, and reading hustle hut.

All I've done is read through Hustle Hut, skimmed through some sales books, etc. and that's helped me. Never took any of the courses. I did purchase one of his ebooks that was helpful since I knew nothing of the industry. It talked about picking your name, some interaction with customers and other stuff. That was only around $13, I'd recommend that. Other than that I think what's helped me is time doing it, the longer you do it the better you get. You can't teach experience! First try reading through hustle hut and stripping general, get some good books to either read or an audio book to listen to and maybe try the ebook I was telling you. Before you go out and spend lots of money you want to make sure you like dancing! One girl at my club worked there for about 2 wks and then quit, it wasn't for her.

I took the dancer wealth home study course. Most of the information I already knew from working in the business or reading it on hustle hut. It is nice to have it all in a binder though. I am thinking of moving on to a more "wannadance" type of club but I don't know how that will go.
Oh god, that is the funniest thread I have ever read on stripperweb.

EVERY dancer needs this training. I took the class and found it very helpful. Honestly, 8 out of every 10 dancers have no idea what the hell they are doing, have a totally unstructured life, don't know what to say to guys, how to dress and wear makeup, get addicted to smoking as well as working drunk and high, create unnecessary club drama, find it difficult to adhere to a stable work schedule, and are living from hand to mouth for no reason other than ignorance and lack of training.
In the class you are taught how to treat this business like a profession, how to sell effectively, and how to save and accumulate money.
This business can be quite frustrating nowadays, even for us veteran dancers being that it is a declining industry, and club owners are overloading the clubs with dancers to compensate for the lack of customers. Guys many times now require more persuading to get them to buy dances, and the knowledge you can gain from the class can make selling the guys an easier task.
I would plan on taking the class or buying the home study course ASAP.
If you know nothing about sales and you're a newbie, then the home study course or live class would help. I got the HSC, but I already knew a lot of what was there from having experience and reading Hustle Hut. Disc 6 helped me the most since it was most of the hardcore sales stuff I was looking for. The rest of it was more for noobs, imo.
I figured since I'ma be new, that that's exactly why it might help. I'm a lil nervous because unlike a 9-5, nobody is gonna train you. Provided I like the industry, I'd want to learn stuff quick so everything works out in my interest rather than against me. Thanks for the reviews ladies!!

Get the HSC. It will give you a great boost and you can refer to it again and again. If fact, I am going to start going through it again next week.

I forgot! I did purchase the e-book awhile back. It was a compilation of their newsletters and like someone said above, did not really cover any sales technique. Start dancing, save up some money, and either get the home study course or take the live class. The e books weren't worth it. Why the hell didn't I remember this?!? I can be such a stoner sometimes, ugh!
You say you have experience in customer service? That may be enough. I come from a retail background and it seems to me if you have any experience dealing with the public, you'll catch on pretty quickly and be miles ahead of all the young girls who have been dancing since high school and don't even know how to approach someone.
I'm confused, but the Chewbacca Truffle Shuffle cleared it up. - Emily
