    Default Smoothies w/o Dirty Blenders

I want smoothies! I'm carving one like mad! I used to make one each morning (frozen berries, protien powder, and juice) and it was sooo great. But I always hated cleaning my huge blender. I look at it sometimes and I hate it so much. It was such a pain to clean that I've grown to HATE it. Wow... uhm, so I was wondering if there is any way to get around my huge blender issue. I think I once saw a cup where you put protien powder with liquid and then shake it and drink it straight from the cup, what are those called? Also, are magic bullets any good?

I have a magic bullet, and it's fantastic! SO easy to clean! Honestly.. It was a great addition to my kitchen. I use it all the time.

What kind of blender do you have? I have a reglar ol' glass one and I just throw it in the diswasher. If you dont have a dishwasher, I completely understand. I dont have one at the moment, but I'm getting one installed on monday. I moved to a place without one and I cant live without it after having had one. I havent used my blender since I moved, because I hate cleaning all the different parts.

I have that protein shake cup, I got it from GNC. No idea the actual name, but you can easily find it at GNC. Those small blender cups I'm assuming would be your best bet, since you like smoothies and it'd be a lot easier to clean than a big blender. I've seen them on ebay and they get good reviews so I'd think they are good.

Magic bullets are great. They get the ice nice and ground up even though they don't seem like they would. This is also nice http://www.asseenontv.com/prod-pages/thunderstick.html

i use fruit and yogurt in my food processor for smoothies, which is dishwasher-safe. so there's really no mess, unless you count shoving pieces of plastic into a dishwasher as 'mess'.

I have a blender bottle, but honestly, I don't like it. It will only mix the protein powder with milk/water, you can't add ice or anything (at least not if you want it blended). Plus it leaves little chunks of the powder unmixed...*gag*...anywho, my trainer loves her magic bullet, but I haven't tried it yet.
