    Default Accused of something bad...

Saturday night I went back to work after 6 weeks off. Last time I worked I took a couple into VIP. I may have had a drink too many but I know what went on back there...

I get back to work and a bouncer comes up to me and says "Audrey, management is cracking down and theres no fingering girls in the back room" WTF?! I thought he was kidding! I told him I wasnt doing that - I wasnt that drunk (happily buzzed but not drunk). I argued with him about it for a few minutes and he was adament that I did it. I told him I promise I wont do it anymore... I dont even like girls - thats not my thing and the couple offered me a grand to go home with them. Youd think if I was into her that much I would have gone home with them, right? Anyway - Im a bit upset because this is NOT something I would EVER do and now Im so embarassed - just being accused of something like this ... I dont think I can say or do anything to change his mind. Youd think after a year and a half there theyd know me a little better...

Sorry - just had to rant a little...

Try not to worry about it. The most important thing is that you know you didn't do anything wrong.

It'll blow over. Everyone, at one time or another falls under suspicion.

Maybe he's getting you confused with someone else? After all, it is dark in those VIP rooms, maybe he's getting you confused with someone that has the same color hair and body type. Either way, it'll blow over and be forgotten about very soon!

Well why would you tell him you promise not to do it again?! Now in his mind (even if he may have confused Audrey with another girl) he knows for a fact that you are the culprit.

I'd just steer clear of him..

AudreyLeigh, I know how you feel.

The same thing happened to me a few weeks back during a very busy Saturday for the club. We had the Australian Grand Prix in town for the weekend so were prepared for it with heaps of girls working the floor (up to 40), bouncers and waitresses left, right and centre.

My regular came in for a dance so we settled for the upstairs area. It's a little dark there but the multiple couches are all so close together there you can practically reach over and touch the neighbouring dancer and her custy.

Anyway, so I'm giving my custy the dance and I pull my usual move. He's sitting on the couch while I prop myself over him while keeping distance not to touch bodies, and I lean forward so our foreheads touch and sway my body from side to side while I'm doing that. I do it because it makes the dance feel intimate when it's actually not and for me, the occasional deep-eye gazing does the trick with most boys. I've done it before and no-one's ever raised it as an issue so I assumed it was all good.

As soon as the dance finished, we left the dance area when my manager pulled me aside to have a word with me. He said, "A long-time employee of mine, whom I trust a lot, has just told me you were kissing a customer. So WHY did you do that?" Yep, he accused me of doing extras, without giving me the slightest chance to defend myself. I replied, "Well I can't give you an answer to your question because that assumes that I did kiss him, which I did not."

It went on for a couple more minutes; he accused me of doing extras while I stuck to my guns the entire time and denied it. In the end, he said that the warning's been given and just left it at that. WTF? Whatever happened to innocent until being proven guilty? Just because ONE person claimed to have seen something that COULD have happened from an OBSCURE angle does not automatically warrant what he says is TRUE.

How many witnesses were there to provide incriminating evidence? One.
Was there any proof caught on tape? None.
Have I ever been warned for breaking previous rules or known to give extras? No.

WTF! The bastard automatically assumed I was the extras-giving whore. And what makes me even more angry, is the fact that he actually thinks I'm THAT dumb to do such a thing in a dance area where people are crawling all over the place. Even if the dumbest girl wanted to give extras, you'd THINK they'd do it in a secluded area away from any people, security or surveillance. Idiots! Ever since that incident, I've kept to myself and don't really socialise with anyone at work anymore because I feel like my image has been wrongly tarnished and now everyone's taking more notice of me because of it. It blows.

    /end rant
