    Default Mmmmmm mystic tan...

I hadn't gone to get my mystic tan in almost a month, but I finally went back again today and got sprayed. I forgot how much I love the smell of that stuff. While I'm in the booth I just inhale it like it's the smell of fresh-baked cookies or something I didn't like the smell at first, but now all I can do is sit here smelling my mystic-coated skin. Am I a complete weirdo?

Nah, you're not a weirdo! I luvs me some tanned skin without having to worry about skin cancer or premature aging.

Have you ever tried an airbrush tan? I got my first one today, and I have to say that it is amazing! It gives you a great, dark tan that lasts for 7-10 days and there's no smell at all. I'm officially hooked. This will be my way of getting sun-kissed skin without the sun from here on out!

I sniff my skin all night too. But um, while you're getting sprayed, hold your breath, or wear the nose fillers. I do both, and cover all mucus membranes since I heard the FDA's statement about DHA and lead.

About the DHA in Mystic Tan etc.

"in the Mystic Tan, lead was present."

"Just because the FDA allows DHA to contain minute amounts of lead and arsenic, it is not found in Mystic Tan Tanning Myst."

I'm not worried or anything, just better to be safe. In the last paragraph of the last link, they talk about how some salons are not using actual Mystic Tan and how you can find out.

I just went to a place with new booths where you turn 4 times to get sprayed all over. I love it. It's so much more even than the old one where you turn once. Still hate the smell though.....

It doesn't "cover them", per say, but it does help to have tanned skin in making them less noticeable, by far, unless they are very dark or very red marks.

I love mystic tanning....can't do it now because I have to spend my money elsewhere, but it is a godsend for those fat days when I HAVE to dance....I like the smell in the booth too....but not after it's been on my skin for a few hours.

Then a spray tan should make them appear less visible. (Did that sentence make sense? Ha)

I just mysticed today I have a love hate releshinp with it lol I like how it looks when its first done but i got strange wear on it in the joints i don't have clevage (i am an a cup) so not that problem. I kind of like the way it smells becuse it has the smell that a day of pampering at the nail salon and tanning salon has but yes i don't enjoy standing naked in the booth as i get a spray of cold crap all over me. oh the things we do as women lol.
