Thanks Alexxa, I was waiting for you to answer. I would never dream of malicious intent, I just want my boyfriend to be fit physically, spiritually, psychologically, etc.
VG, that kind of stuff exists in many forms, namely placebo effects. That's why even atheist healthcare workers will encourage prayer in patients: belief does assist.
He's getting his test results back on Friday. If we can find a cause or sure there, then I may not need any of this. However, if there's no real cause found, I guess I will try a cleansing.

i am a practicing wiccan, but I do a lot more "just prayer" work than I do anything formally ritualized. I used to be heavily into the ritual, but after a while found that all the extemporaneous stuff used in ritual was not all that necessary for me. Its not that I dont use all the extras, just not as many or as often as I used to. I dont need to.
However, for people who are just starting to try to cast a spell or lift a curse, the tools can be very important to help focus your energy.
for a cleansing, depending on what exactly you are trying to do, there are many different tools you can use, such as crystals, incense, water. I wouldnt suggest fire in this case since you are trying to cleanse him specifically lol. You dont want to accidently burn away all his desire! anyway, good luck. feel free to PM me if you want another opinion. The more opinions you can get the better off you are at finding what works for you!

Im a big believer in Aura exersizes, whether you believe in them or not. (I can see them somewhat which is why im so in to them.) I think cleansing the aura reinforces positive thinking and the good energy around you. Plus it makes you feel good anyway (-: Theyre easy and cost nothing except a few minutes of time each day.
I think part of the problem is that it sounds like you both believe there is a strong posibility that the ex has cast a spell, now you need to both get into the frame of mind that it can be overcome and nothing can hurt you. see link for a bit more info.

*Wiccan and a witch*
Rarely do spells though. They work. That much I know.

I am a believer, one of my distant cousins tried to read my chakras or something similar a while back. The whole college thing just distanced me from anyone I knew that had any experience, I'm fascinated by it and would like to get back into the world.
Guy #1: I'd totally hit that.
Guy #2: Dude, I'd hit that so hard whoever could pull me out would become the King of England.
I wholeheartedly believe in it.
Do you believe in magic in a young girl's heart
How the music can free her, whenever it starts
And it's magic, if the music is groovy
It makes you feel happy like an old-time movie
I'll tell you about the magic, and it'll free your soul
But it's like trying to tell a stranger 'bout rock and roll....

Shake your ass and preserve your heritage.
Bang those fucking drums.
Do it for the present and future generations.
Have fun and stick it to the man at the same time. (bad-dominicana)

Ehh...i'm not sure what to think. My parents used to believe in it hard core. In Mexico, there are so many witchcraft stores where you can get spells and crazy stuff to curse someone of make someone fall in love with you. One time when I was down there with my family, my mom and I went to this tarot card reader who also did "spells". She told us that someone had placed a curse on me cuz they were jealous. I was like 17 and my mom and I actually bought into it. She charged us to "remove" the curse. Man, she had me stand in front of a little concrete bowl with burning leaves in it and she beat me from head to toe with some huge leaves chanting a whole bunch of stuff. She then had me spin around a few times and jump over the bowl. Looking back, I feel like an idiot. I think she was just in it for the money.
I believe in karma. I believe what you put into yourself is what you'll get out of yourself. And I believe those that knowlingly hurt others will continue to suffer themselves.

Yes, my grandparents are Wiccan. I'm not Wiccan, but I use alot of Wiccan influance (as well as many others) when I've done my own rituals.

I want to believe in it. There's a part of me that still needs more proof though.
^^^ The best way to find proof, or lack of is by trying it for yourself. Not hexing of course, lol - dont do that, but start to encorporate a little magic daily into your life. Little positive things. If it works it works etc (-:
I totally agree.
I have seem karma at work. Sometimes it is instant, other times, karma can take a lifetime to work its magic.
I think that what you do to another, you do to yourself. That is why it is so important to treat each other with love and respect.
I do believe in psychic phenomena.

I'm a believer and practiser of magick. When i was younger i was an embarrasing "The Craft" style witch who ran about trying to change the weather, and the colour of my eyes, and 'casting curses' on a boy who hurt me.
I realise how much of a daft little girl i was.
Then i realised that being a pagan is much more than all of that petty stuff. It's all good and well doing a spell to bring you what you want, but much more effective is having a positive attitude and going out there and doing something appropiate so that you do get what you want.
I think that your friend BELIEVED that the powder would work, and so it did. She could have chucked some curry powder under his desk and it would still have happened. The key to removing such curses etc. is to stop believing in them.
I believe true magick is the focussing of ones energy into bettering themselves as a person and bringing positive changes to the world around them.
All of the candles, herbs and crystals help to focus that energy and mind power by representing emotions and specific feelings, and help the witch to focus their mind better and to magnify their own energy.

I had someone who said they read auras tell me that mine was VERY strong, almost blinding. (It was at Walmart no less, at like 4 in the morning--so it could've just been some crazy person) I never really took into account what they said, but what does that mean? Does it mean that I have a strong life force?

Just wondering...do those...Craft style spells ever work? Not like changing the weather, but is it at all possible to change small things about yourself physically somehow?
"Power of belief..."
My dad lives down the street from an "Aztec bruho" (male witch.) This bruho burns chiles in woodfires & basically makes a smoke version of pepper spray this way...I drove by when he was doing that once & I wanted to turn the car around so I could go beat him up...the smoke got in the car. His neighbors moved away because they got sick and tired of the chili bonfires and assorted weird crap.
(My dad's from the historical rival tribe to the Aztecs [Purepecha] so we're like, "F*ck that dude, he's full of meirda!" He makes a good living conning people out of money....)

I have a long family history of 'natural witches'.
I definitely agree that positive reinforcement / 'Karma' can have real world effects.
I also agree that certain people have unusual 'spiritual talents' which have been developed and focused enough to actually provide consistent results.
Can you scientifically prove the effectiveness of such things - no. Can you statistically prove the effectiveness of such things - easily.
Supposedly, my family has a long line of natural witches in it as well. I have heard a lot of stories of some of the abilities people in my family have had.
However...
My uncle was a practicing witch for a very long time. He was in the Gulf War, and then his mother( my gramma) died. This seemed to set him over the edge, and he got into some scary stuff. Rituals involving blood, calling to evil spirits....some crazy stuff. It got scary.
I have no religious affiliation, although I find I tend to agree the most with Paganism. The things they believe, just fit my own belief system the best.
Thats note really enough to go by.
Probably they meant your aura is strong in a good way indicating a balanced life, good health, happyness etc.
On the other hand sometimes having a 'strong" aura isnt a good thing, it can mean the person is a bit overbearing/ forceful etc.
Its hard to know what they meant though since no-one else but them knows how they define auras. Im no expert but I hve noticed that alot of people who can see auras done nessesarilly know alot about them and that they often go a little over board with "Omg, you have such a strong aura"thing.
I always love it when I see a stronger than usual aura though, its kinda cool![]()
