Nothing's going on up here in NW Jersey yet, so no pics to take.

I did get some tulips for Easter though...really pretty red-orange with yellow centers. They remind me of fire.

Can't wait for everything to start blooming. It's chilly today! But it's early yet too...maybe later in the day.

    Yeah it's getting warmer.

I have the day off today from the office and I'm inside trying to catch up on housework!

Doesn't seem to be getting warmer, though. I've got the sliding glass doors open to air the place out and I'm really cold. Leaving them open because I hate not getting fresh air in the winter and can't wait for spring to open up the windows.

Have fun with the yard work!

I usually know it's spring when the forsythia bushes start to bloom.

Something about that first burst of yellow in an otherwise barren area makes me happy.

I miss spring. I miss lil crocus blooms popping out of the leaf litter... I miss tiny bits of color at the very tips of trees.... Florida has two seasons. Green and Hurricane. So no real seasonal fun for me. So I google spring flowers and stuff and make my pc background various images. (I do this for spring, fall, and winter...) Right now it's this one.

Paige, that was so beautiful. I clicked and the window opened and gave me such a gorgeous burst of purple that I felt drunk for a second.

Can't wait for the riot of colors that is a Northeastern Spring/Summer. Same thing with the fall. It's all about color. It's the only way to deal with the winter. Although icicles and snow can be cool too.

    Ok, ok....I love all seasons!!!

Nothing wrong with the link. Works for me. Do you have a pop-up blocker or something?

Spring? What's spring? It's 85 outside and the grass is starting to turn yellow.

I am so jealous of anyone that has daffodils growing around their place!!

Edited to add: Just check outside and it's sleeting right now!

I'm only about 10 minutes from Mt. Olive and I agree, Sussex Cty is about a 10 degree difference from Union Cty.

Tell me about it!! I feel like I'm in the bottom of a bowl sometimes. Everyone else around me is fine, but I've got a foot of snow.

Still raining this morning though...no snow. Just gray, wet and freaking icky!

Not in this house it isn't!!!

Especially when your fiance earns time and a half over his salary to plow. That money means a nice lil weekend trip to Disney after a storm!

Stop rubbing it in!! I would give anything to trade places with you and live in the warm weather.

Florida has three things I love: Warm weather, Disney, and my best friend who lives not far from Tampa now.

Now all I have to do is convince the other half. Thought it was gonna happen, but plans fell through.
