By the way...does anyone know if they actually changed the residency requirements for Australian citizenship? I read that there was a possibility of them extending the required "permanent residency" time pre-citizenship-application by another two years.
They didn't change it yet. They're talking about it. You come in. Get a visa (pick one)... get temporary residency for 2 year than perm residency for 2 years then citizenship. They wanted to extend temp ANOTHER two years.

    No effing way.

Yeah...another two years would suck! How much longer do you have till you can apply?

I'm just curious b/c I'm going to school in AUS in Jan...and that lasts for three years...and I know I'm probably going to want to stay there after I graduate (on a skilled migrant visa if possible)...hmmm!

I SHOULD get the reply to my temp in the next month. So... four more years.
