    Q About Hawaii Clubs

    Hello all,

I'm an exotic dancer in San Antonio, TX., and am moving back to Hawaii in January, and want to dance when I return for some extra $$$$...is it worth it for a local girl like me? Me and my friends were strip club junkies when I lived there, but I really need the lowdown on how the clubs work over there...I remember a lot of the clubs being kinda ghetto, and so many gorgeous women!! I heard they made great $$$ over there cuz of the Japanese tourists. For any HI dancers...how do you gals make your $$$$? I don't remember seeing a main stage in any of the clubs for the girls to do their first sets and so on like the clubs here on the mainland...the girls in HI were all clustered 2gether on different stages with chairs around them for the custys. How does everything....LD's, tip outs, club rules, etc. work? Any and all info would be greatly appreciated!!

    Thanks girls,

    Mileia

You have to get a TB test and a "green card" permit before you even apply at the clubs, it will take a few days so plan that ahead of time. TB testing is free if you find where and when (everyday in at least one location near honolulu) and a quick web search will do that. I tried it for 3 weeks at Club 939, i hated it and decided to return home, but i dont think i relly gave it a shot. It might have been me, but from what i heard from the other girls, Rockza, Femme Nu, and Centerfolds were the best money and coolest to work at. They also said that it was slow everywhere, and thats they way it seems it is on the mainland now anyways.... good luck

I heard you had to be tested for hepatitis as well, and that it's best to do that before you head out there since they're on Hawaii time out there and who knows how long it'll take you.

    Theres no testing for Hepatitis....

But you do have to get your dancer's liscense for the Liquor Comission as well as a Hostess card. Its super cheap.

Hawaii clubs are funny because most of them dont usually have a main stage. But you still make money.

    Table Dances
    Drink Sales
    Champagne Sales
    Hustling on stage

Japanese tourists are not always GREAT with cash flow either. Some are cheaper than locals.
