I already have some white stretch marks on my breast. Do stretch marks usually get worse after BA or do they look less noticeable.

They'll probably get a little worse. but you're not supposed to tan, so they'll be less noticible.
I agree with Lola, if you already have some, they might get worse.
I have very tight skin so I'm worried about this as well. Oh well, I can deal with some stretch marks no big deal. As long as they're not big and raised.
I got them after my BA, and never had them before. They're totally worth it though![]()
I believe you Dottie and you have my support

I work with a dancer who had BA recently and when she first had it done the stretch marks were very noticeable. I have noticed that they seem to be fading now though.
Lola howcome you can't tan after BA? How long does that apply for. Can you fake tan?

I've tanned after my BA already. I just make sure to keep my nips covered where the light scar is. Also, I never got stretch marks after my BA. I was thinking the same thing. There is a cream that you can get that will lighten the appearence of stretch marks.....Mederma I think its called.
I've been using this product called Bio Oil on my breasts to prepare them for surgery. Also, I'm getting b/w 325-375 cc so I'm not going to be stretching my skin too much.
How big do you plan on going? The larger you go the more prone you are to stretch marks (if you have the tendency).

Im working on getting my breast even so im goin one cup bigger on one side and maybe 2 on the other.I know its not much stretching but since I already have stretch marks I figured my skin is prone to them.Is there any steps to take before or after surgery to prevent marks?
my streatch marks are hardly noticible, btw.
Like Lola, if you're fair skinned, they won't be as noticeable.
Moisturize and massage like crazy. This might not prevent them but it might help them appear lighter if they develop.

I was super worried about developing stretch marks because of my BA... but my PS just said that there's no way to tell for sure, so it's just one of the risks you take.. but here I am over a year later and lo and behold! No stretch marks!![]()
