Yes, close all the titty bars! That'll fix everything! No more drug dealers or prostitution ever!
Um, where do they expect them to move to?
And what about the modeling studios. Those are illegal anyway why are they still open? Oh, that's right, because bribes mean a lot in this state.![]()

Oops I just posted the same story in another thread.
Soooo. How is the St. James doing?![]()

Reason # 7878987 why I am not stripping in Houston and am starving my way through nursing school rather than risk getting busted.
There are hundreds upon hundreds of those bookstores with hookers in the back, modeling studios, PURE brothels, and streetwalkers. Houston has no zoning, which is why any business can go anywhere. And its not just SOB and neighborhoods that have fought over this for years.
Personally I think this is just another story because there wasn't enough shocking news yet this week.

if they close all the clubs down in houston they are just going to move to surrounding areas. I agree they shouldn't have any adult related store near schools. I remember riding to school when I was a kid and seeing all the adult places going down 45 S. I used to ask what those places were, because of the colorful signs. yeah i didnt get an answer lol. I think they cause to much curiousity by being there. But no matter what they do with the clubs there is still going to be prostitution, drugs, rapes, etc. Most people I know that are in college that have regular jobs are struggling, or they are getting help from their parents or family if they are not. One of my friends that works at a normal "college kid" job has gotten robbed at work, so how are these jobs safer then working at a Stripclub. Sorry for my bad grammar i'm far too annoyed to check it. I don't know anyone that works at a normal college kid job that lives in a nice apartment complex or house that doesn't get help from family or parents. Unless they have a room mate with a good job. There are alot of dangerous apartment complexes in Houston and I don't have to live in one since I'm a dancer and I can afford not to. I don't think people realize what typical college kids earn $8.00 an hour is the typical pay and thats around $500-$600 every two weeks working 40+ hours of work. In very rare cases a college student can get a good job, but that is rare. I think that the clubs should be in secluded areas and thats all I have to say.
