Funny, there is a customer in my club who gets so lit and drugged up that he will sign anything put in front of his face. He'll take out 1000 at a time in fantasy and just let one of the girls hand it out to the others at the table. He doesn't remember how much he spends til the next day when he looks at his receipt.....yet, he continues to come into our club over and over, and do the same thing. So obviously he likes it. I think he's rare, but I don't feel bad about taking his money. He's clearly ok with the whole situation.
I very much agree with the OP's point about saying hi to as many people as you can. If you are with a regular who you know is taking care of you all night then don't bother, but on a normal night it's important. Every one of them who comes up and gives you a couple dollars on stage makes you look more popular and in-demand. Also you will touch base with someone occasionally who says, "I've been waiting all night for you to come over." This translates to: "I have money that I've been waiting to give you, let me give it to you now!" A lot of times these guys don't want to flag you down but they are secretly hoping you'll come over. You'll never find the shy ones unless you make a round and say hi to everyone.
