Clove of garlic, in the precious patoochie overnight. Plain yogurt with acidophilous cultures used as a topical cream. + A Half cup table salt or epsom salt in a warm bath.

European home remedy: put a little Vaseline or KY jelly on a tampon (acts as a barrier), then add a few drops of tea tree oil and insert.

one thing to be careful about with tampons is that they absorb all of your fluids and when you remove them leave teeny tiny cuts that make you much more susceptible to bacteria, so tampon usage can actually cause yeasties. maybe you could just swab with tea tree oil instead.

The tampon works to keep the TTO inside the vagina and off the outer lips, which it can irritate. I'd say extra lube on the tampon if you find that you're dry...but usually yeast infections are plenty moist (ugh)...

It sounds scary to put garlic in ur kitty!! But next time I'm in that situation, I'll probably be feeling ready to try anything (usually am when I'm that uncomfortable)..

try either the garlic clove or the WALGREENS version of the monistat... "Walgreens' Tioconazole 1 Dose." same ingredients, much cheaper. good luck. as you read 2 days ago, i felt your pain. yuck.

    .... wait, that wasn't natural. sorry. *foot-in-mouth*

Cut out as much sugar and white flour products from your diet as you can. Also any food with yeast in it,breads, donuts, alcahol etc. Cut out processed food too if you can. It makes an amazing difference even to do some of the above.

    Seriously, boric acid, no foolin!

    http://health.yahoo.com/ency/healthwise/tn9595

It's available in the 'first aid' section of any pharmacy, and is dirt cheap. You can get gel caps at any health food store, or just empty out some old disused caplet vitamins in your pantry.
