...or anyone who is familiar with the process of studying abroad, really.
I'm going to be studying in Australia starting in Jan. 08, and I'm starting to get my paperwork together as much as I can now.
So I ran into this quandary when reading the requirements/conditions for applying for a student visa. It said that one of the conditions is that I prove I have enough $$ to sustain myself and pay for school for the duration of my study. I currently have enough to last me for the first year, including tuition and all that. The program that I'm doing lasts for three years, though. My plan is to apply for permission to work, and pay for the last two years of my stay through employment (dancing, of course).
Will my application be denied because I don't have three years' worth of funds in the bank? How do they determine how much three years' worth of funds IS, anyway? Is there any way to indicate that I will be funding myself through employment?
