Default Texas club for UK dancer.

Any suggestions on where a petite and cute UK dancer can work in Texas? Quite fancy Austin but any suggestions would be great. I'm a fan of easy-going clubs with a guys-can't-touch-dancers-policy.
I just fancy a wee working break.
    Cheers ladies.

The clubs in Dallas will probably ask your social security number. Do you have one?

Uh, that knocks out most of TX as they're accustomed to at least some 2-way contact most places, but you can certainly assert yourself on an individual basis. I should think most if not all the clubs in Austin will let you work. I worked with quite a few foreign dancers there and myself worked in clubs where I was never asked for an SS card.

Yes, you'll probably be OK in Ausin without a SS card, but I'd still check. It's true that there is higher contact level in Austin than Dallas, but you can defend yourself from handsy customers.

Bleh...are you sure about that? I'd love to be able to get out of here during the summer!

    WORD.
And I would think you could do better financially in the winter. Summer is hot as fuck. And if you're gonna be in Austin/Dallas/San Antonio/Houston it's going to be waaaay humid. If you're higher up north, like near me (Amarillo) it will most likely be dry and hot, although we've had a lot of rain lately..
But I would recommend staying south of the panhandle. We're small-town up here... Dallas/Austin would be more lucrative.

Not always true. I've gotten into a few places without a SS card, but that's because I was referred by a friend who already worked there. Most places want the card, but a few will let you write your SSN into the application. If you do write a fake one, keep in mind you'll be committing fraud and possible identity theft.

I've heard Austin is good. And yeah don't come to Houston; this place is octopus city.
