    Default Disturbia...

Was actually pretty good. Compared to some of the other hoo-ha I've sat through lately. It wasn't as scary as they made it look, but I liked it. I'd even watch it twice.

I agree! The trailor made it look like it was going to be a phenomenal breakthrough horror film but it ended up being a little predictable. I'm glad you liked it too Pooka, in all its simplicity. (I personally may have enjoyed it more if my boyfriend and the other guy I'm seeing were'nt in the same theatre...)

Yup.. I went into that with low low expectations.. kind of thinking I was about to see the MTV version of Rear Window..

Annnnnnd that's kind of what it was.. but they managed to pull it off. I was very pleasantly surprised.

I have been wanting to watch it. Is it gory? I love really gory movies. I was just worried it might suck since lately scary movies haven't been that great.

I saw the trailer, felt it was an embellished Hitchcock remake, and shrugged. I'll wait till I can see it for free at work.

No it wasn't gory, and like Tart said it was pretty slow at first. It wasn't anything amazing, but it was pleasantly not terrible. (And thats good compared to everything else I've seen lately that was labeled "scary")

I thought it was more of a teenage romance mystery than anything horror movie like. I was disappointed.
