Default Has anyone worked for Centerfold Strips?

I am looking into working for Centerfold Strips. The interview and application process has been via phone and email and I sense they are very professional thus far but I wanted to see if anyone has any experiences they could share about them.

    Thanks so much

If you're in the Portland area you probably want to link up with as many agencies as you can around here, just to maximize your calls. This is what I'm planning to do, by default, since the ones in the area seem to call each other up anyways when they are short on dancers.

I don't know if Centerfold Strips gets a lot of hits for the area, but they've been around a long time so I'd imagine they're O.K. It is nice to work with someone local. Paris can tell you about OR agencies and you are also welcome to PM me as well.

I worked for them and quit. The only parties they ever wanted to book for were several hours away, and there was often a low or no show-up fee. When I told them no, that is just too far away (we're talking 2-3 hours each direction sometimes), they would get pretty peeved. They also called last-minute most of the time, and even though they had my weekly availability (usually Friday and Saturday), they KEPT CALLING and being pissed on the few days I was not available (there are two weekends a summer or so that I cannot work due to other commitments--they knew this MONTHS in advance, and were still peeved when I said I couldn't do the party). This included last minute, middle-of-the-day strip-o-grams for 50 bucks 2+ hours away during the workweek. *rolls eyes*

They also called several times a day during my work hours for my other job, with insistence that I "Call back immediately." When I was hired on with CS, I very politely told them that I did have another job that often prevented me from calling back immediately or answering my phone, and asked if that was a problem (I am VERY professional and timely). They said no, and I simply asked them to leave a message and I'd return it at my earliest break. IF that meant I lost the party to another girl, that would be fine. They kept calling and insisting anyway, even though I usually called them within 2-3 hours, and me on how I needed to call them back right away, and why did I just go outside and talk? When I explained, politely, that my weekday job did not allow for that, he was incredibly rude about it. Gee, buddy, sorry I have a real job, too. Ugh.

My final straw with them was when they sent out an email with ALL MY PERSONAL INFORMATION ON IT, including phone number and address, to a bunch of other dancers in the area without my permission or consent. The email included all of the other dancer's info, as well. Now, keep in mind that they've never actually MET any of these women. All they have are some phone calls and pictures. I was livid that they would distribute my business phone and home address to people neither I nor they knew, and called them pretty pissed. They didn't seem to get it, and finally I just told them to take me off of their website and never call me again. They had the nerve to get pissy with me about it and say "well, they're only other dancers!" Yeah, who I don't know, and I don't want having my business phone number (and therefore business name, which makes the rest pretty easy to get) when I've expressed an explicit desire for privacy regarding my other job. I don't know if these girls are on-the level, if they have psycho boyfriends/girlfriend's checking their email, etc.. And neither did CS. It made me realize that if they'll email that stuff at the drop of a hat without even telling me/asking me they're going to do it, they'd probably not be so professional about giving customers that info, either.

    Morons.

    Wow, that is terrible.
When did all this happen? I have a feeling that the management may have changed as my interactions with the VP have been highly professional thus far...would be good to know when all that went down so I know if I am working with the same people.

    Thanks for your sharing.
    Peace,
