I wonder which is more dangerous.
I wonder which is more taboo.
Both CAN be pretty dangerous. I'm not sure which is more taboo.

Lipo isn't anymore dangerous than implant's... I don't understand why people make such a big deal out of it to be honest (if you are one for surgery I mean)
I dunno which is more taboo though.
Well, like any surgery, lipo can cause serious complications.

I'd say diet pills are more taboo and potentially more dangerous. At least lipo is done under the supervision of a doctor.
Because there ain't no tits on the radio

It's cool. I must have misunderstood you.

^ no prob.
Haha could you imagin the response SophieMarie would have to this topic!
Oh Geez.....
Yes. Yes I could![]()
Lipo isn't really intended for weight loss. The perfect candidate is one who is at their ideal weight. Not that that is what the majority of patients are though. I guess they are both abused.

hmm dangerous? well of course both have their dangers but i will take a guess and say diet pills are more dangerous. Generally lipo is performed by experts under medical supervision and theres usually aftercare involved in case of complications.
And generally woman who take diet pills do so on a whim with no medical supervision and being untrained theres so much that can go wrong ie overdosing, taking tablets regardless of existing medical conditions that they could aggravate.
--Please note that i said generally-there are always exceptions--
As for taboo, i'd probably say lipo.Anyone can walk into their local chemist or supermarket and pick up a packet of diet pills without anyone batting an eyelid. I think because lipo is a surgical procedure people perceive there is a greater risk thus it is more taboo.
And frustratedbunny made a very good point that lipo is not for weight loss. I recently got a bit pissed off at a story i read about a 16 year old girl who got pretty much all over lipo and then a tummy tuck to get rid of all the loose skin caused by the procedure. She did that with the sole intention of losing weight without trying. It just struck me as so unneccessary and if my daighter wanted to lose a few dress sizes i would encourage her to exercise, probably taking her along to a dance class or something so she could have fun at the same time, and change the food i cooked for my family to encourage healthier eating.
