    Default how acceptable is jewelry?

i just purchased my first shoes and a few mix-and-match items to wear for my first audition, and it got me to thinking when at the store: i dont see a ton of jewelry on the girls when i go to the club. is that for a reason? sure i've seen them with lots of rhinestones or big earrings but when i went last night, i dont think i saw a single bracelet, and only one girl with a choker on. maybe it was just this club i went to last night (a nude bar), where if you went to do your standard "grab head, pull face first into breasts, jiggle" move, a giant necklace would get in the way. maybe there are secret downsides to jewely wearing.

mostly i just think accessorizing is really sexy and i wonder how far can you/should you go with it?

I and most girls at the clubs I have worked at wear jewellery. It makes you look sexier and feminine when you are naked. Men notice all the little details and effort that you put in.

I do not wear jewelry, but I am in the extreme minority at my current club. Well, sometimes jewelry type hair clips. Most wear something shiny. I like it when there stick to one peice. Guys really like the neckline, so don't disrupt it to much. I have noticed that girls like me that are very active in their dancing wear a lot less jewelry.

Stripping isn't what it used to be. Frankly, most current strippers are too lazy/cheap to accessorize, and frankly, with the way earnings potential has dropped overall in the past few years, I can't say I blame them much...

Bracelets can be hard to wear - many will snag and ruin your outfits, and depending on how you dance they can get in the way on stage. Chokers are generally hassle-free, but you should still be careful the kind you buy. Anklets are usually easy to wear at work also. Bellychains - depends on the kind of dancing you do and outfits you wear. Go as far as you want with accessories; I've seen some girls who wear tons of jewelry all over and some who wear nothing. I really like a nice rhinestone choker myself, and alot of guys seem to like it to

I LOVE wearing flashy jewelry, and I think the guys like it too, and it helps them tell you apart. I've only had probs with long necklaces that sometimes snag on their clothes and/or hurt me as I hug-slide down them, but I pile it on anywhere else I can.

I love wearing jewelry - strippers need at least one piece of bling!

Bling is wonderful!! I wear a fair amount of jewelry, but after experimenting I only wear certain types.

Chokers or shorter necklaces, bracelets, but cuff only bangles get in the way of pole work and I always wear the same three rings: an opal (big and real), an ammythst (medium stone) and a tiny saphire w/ even smaller diamonds surrounding. These rings are sturdy yet pretty and don't over power my small hands and earrings that are simple hoops or studs only.

I wear studs in my ears...that's it. I used to wear chokers, but there were too many issues with snagging on my clothes and during LDs.

yeah...i notice alot of girls at the clubs i worked at dont wear much jewlery either...

i like to wear jewlery that looks noticable and cute while im naked..and make my best assets stand out.

    i dont OVERdo it..

jus a long necklace for neck/boobs..n earrings for my face..and an anklet ( i think anklets make legs look nicer for some reason) and of coure my belly ring...i think my danglinjg belly ring makes me look skinner for some reason rather than a normal belly ring that dont dangle.

i guess it jus depends on yer "style" my style is not really diamondy..so i jus wear whatever.

but yah i usualy dont wear bracelets cuz alot of the time they will get stuck on my clothes! same goes for earrings...i DO wear earrings...but not the kind that will snag on my clothes! so i jus try on diff kinds of jewerly, n see what works n doesnt bug me or get in the way!

My club attracts a lot of good spending customers. It's far from a dive, but far from Christie's quality as well. We get a lot of good spending customers, who say they love the club because it has a nice set up without having that upscale 'vibe'. They think upscale = snooty and unwelcoming.

Unfortunately, I think these guys associate lots of bling with the upscale, because I always make more $$$ when I'm not wearing jewelry. When I wear it I think it intimidates customers - like it gives them a preconceived notion that I'll be a stuck up bitch or something : (.

I have some GREAT antique rhinestone chokers that I wish I could wear more often, damnit. I LOVE the blinged out look!

Do what you like and what suits your style. I like shiny things so I wear diamond chokers and braclets and anklets. Sometimes I wear a cute necklace I love with a fake rose on it. (Sounds tacky, but it's adorable. Trust me) I like some jewlery so I still have some accents on me even when I'm stripped down to a thong. But if you don't like jewlery, don't feel like you HAVE to wear it. Although I do think it makes you look more put together and professional. And it must match your outfit. For instance, I wouldn't wear a rhinestone choker with a schoolgirl skirt, cause that makes no sense to me. What school girls wear rhinestones?

Fake pearls can look gorgeous when you are wearing something ultra-girly.

Just make sure its not something with to much going on, they work better with simple styles/patterns.

For example, a black lacy bra w/black gartered skirt, and long pearl necklace looped around your neck once or twice

eww, maybe even with long gloves, and a pearl bracelet too, and big red lips (lipstick) Sexx-sayyy!

Im the queen of 'bling'.. I have chokers, earings and necklaces all australian crystal... im known for it. My promo is done with the choker and earings and I ALWAYS wear them on the floor. All my costumes are with chokers... its just that finishing touch. If you do the titty slap I wouldnt wear heavier necklaces, but if your a sensual classy dancer it looks good. I think it compliments a gown nicely. It also adds that finished touch.

You can get really nice cheap fake diamonds etc at costume jewelry stores.
