Get Denevir from a Dermatologist . It's works better than anything over the counter . I only get them a couple times a year, but hate them . Den. works - if you put on when you feel the tingle, they won't even pop up.

Take Valtrex. I swear by it for cold sores.
^^That totally works. My friend gets cold sores and will just ask her doc for a handful of Valtrex samples. Goes away within a day or two.
are you SURRRRRRRE it's coldsores? i used to get these things on my chest and neck, they were like almost perfectly round circles, that were kind of flaky, that would look like what a coldsore does at the start, and they'd stay around forever. it turned out to be some kind of fungus thing, that not many doctors are familiar with it, but my doctor at the time had had the same thing and knew how to treat it. all doctors before that told me to put zovirax on it which did nothing. they didn't stop until i got this antifungal cream...

The tiny spots sound like impetigo, which is an infection of the skin. You could try an antibiotic ointment.
Abreeva works good for cold sores.
