Phoenix is way too hot and crowded.
I've lived all over: Chicago area, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Wash DC, Milwaukee, etc. I'm living in the city I love. Every time I go on vacation anywhere I always remember why I love Tucson so so much![]()

Well, I didn't mean Phx isn't that great because of heat or crowding, I meant because of $$ potential. I am SO over it. My only consolation is that I can work whenever I want again .....whoopdedoo. I'd rather do a schedule and make more $
^I agree, Phx is a great city to live in, but I've seen the money potential drop in just the two years I've been working out here. Still just because money isn't so great here anymore, a dancer can still earn a decent living and have a great life. Plus, Vegas is so close! I wouldn't want to live in Vegas, but at least it's close enough for weekend trips.
Tucson is a beautiful city, but honestly I think I'd get bored there.
You wouldn't get bored if you saw my husband's huge list of things to do in Tucson!![]()

Chicago - but only because of the stories I've heard
Based on what I know - Las Vegas.
I really miss Chicago so I'd love to go back and live in the city and work.
I've never been to Hawaii, but have heard how beautiful it is over there and would love to live there. I have no idea which city I would live in though.
Some other places on my list are London, Paris, New York City, and Las Vegas.
I've already decided that I'm going to Baton Rouge though.![]()
I'd love to try out Miami.
People equate sexy with promiscuous. They think that because I'm shaped this way, I must be scandalous - like running around and bringing men into my hotel room. But it's just the opposite.

Yeah, I agree that it's tough to make a ton of $$$ there because most clubs have $10 dances, but I liked the short shifts (a lot of clubs here require dancers to work anywhere from 9 to 12 hour shifts), being able to come and go as you please (I hate sticking to a schedule), and it was relatively easy to sell dances. A lot of times in Phoenix I only had to chat with a guy for about 30 seconds before he bought a dance, and here a lot of guys expect you to sit and chat with them for at least 2-3 songs before doing a dance.
I need busy nightclubs and fabulous shopping. What is the nightlife like there? I've heard it's more college bar than nightclubs. Is there a Nordstrom or better? I really should visit at some point. Everytime I've been there is just for the day, but it is a beautiful city. I don't think I would like it now, but it seems like it would be a good place to raise a family.
I'm a little too "life in the fast lane" right now, I think.

Definitely Portland. I lived in Seattle for about five years and went down there often to see shows. It seems to be a much more laid back/alternative type of city-not to mention absolutely beautiful and cosmopolitan. Once my lease runs out here I am seriously considering it. I *heart* the Northwest and can't wait to get out of Houston!

I dream of having a huge property in California..maybe Napa VAlley..1/2 vineyard 1/2 animal sanctuary...
I'm so sick of south Fl and I HATE Miami. The people, the traffic, the overcrowding, nobody speaking English, everything way overpriced(esp insurance)...ugh..I'm so over it and cant wait to move. Stuck here about 4- 5 more years though until real estate trends change
I cant believe im saying this... someone shoot me...
In the last few months i've worked in most of the major Canadian cities... Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal, Winnipeg and Toronto... I havnt hit Ottawa or Victoria yet but yea anyway...
I have to say... Its Toronto for me... I left and now im back and yea... I think im staying... I hate the city with a passion but as far as cities go I love Toronto... god help me..

I really need a combo of good $ potential/quality of life. Although sometimes you can really bank in Vegas, I found it too stressful and competitive, plus the city itself is too much a party town for me, I like to live in a "normal" city where there is life outside of the club. I feel more comfortable working and living in Dallas, less stress, less competition, cheaper to work and live, BUT it's so boring, no water, no parks, little culture. I don't know, is it possible to find a place that is low stress/high quality of life/beautiful city/nice people/high$ potential or am I dreaming?
I've spent a lot of time in Vegas and considered moving there for awhile. Ultimately, I decided it was too much "life in the fast lane" for me. I went out every single night that I wasn't working and lived really unhealthily. If I did live there, I would not be able to dance as my only source of income b/c burnout would come way too fast, esp with all the partying on my nights off. You should move there and open a stripper store, I bet you would do fabulous!!
And Cally - I love Toronto too! Beautiful city, really nice people, great clubs and restaurants. I love the street shopping and the people watching is fantastic. And it's SAFE too!! If it weren't for the cold, I'd consider staying there permanently.
I LOVE Tucson too! I leave a lot, but I always come back! The people who get bored here are the one who don't love to explore the mountains. They are endless and beautiful.
I are breakfast at the Cup at Club Congress today. CR, I hope that is on R's list of things to do!

Bah!! I've got this fiance now, can't just move off where ever or whenever. I lived in Vegas briefly and loved it. I don't go out all that much, I just like being able to do so whenever I feel like AND find a party whenever I feel like. Puerto Rico was good for that too though, plus better weather and sceneryWith the lower cost of living in Vegas vs Phx now, and the fact there's alot more to do there, trust me, if I could get the fiance to quit his job and move to Vegas with me I'd do it in a second!!
Since I love the West Coast of British Columbia I would have to say Vancouver or Victoria Canada...then Kingston Ontario.
I lived in Vancouver for 2 years and LOVED EVERY MOMENT OUT THERE!!!!!!!![]()
I MISS VANCOUVER SO BAD IT HURTS SOME DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!
I also love Vancouver Island but would need a major centre and Victoria is it! It is a truly beautiful city with history and the rest of the Island isn't that much of a drive...plus fresh seafood daily!
Kingston thanks to a trip to Ontario last summer....although I also loved the Niagara region. Both my hubby and I fell in love with Kingston immediately and being Irish I would have no problems finding fellow and ex-Pats to socialize with!![]()
Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib. Not from his feet to be walked on. Not from his head to be superior, but from the side to be equal. Under the arm to be protected, and next to the heart to be loved."

Oh man, I've been itching to move lately.
Portland...it's so cool I think I could handle the lack of awesome strippertunities
or
San Francisco...I loved it when I visited and have this funny feeling I'll end up there for reasons unknown to me
Heh....if you don't like things to be overpriced, California isn't the place for you! And SO many people here don't speak English. Don't get me started on the traffic and flaky airheaded MORONS either. Okay, most of that is LA and the surrounding area but still...Cali is expensive.
I'm thinking of moving to either Atlanta or Austin. Asheville, NC for the lush greenery, clean air and decent people. I'd probably get bored there very quickly though. Seattle and Portland are minor possibilities. I've even been pondering a move back home to Buffalo because it's cheap and familiar (and my family is there), but I don't think I could handle the snow again. It's just far too cold. That and the economy is horrible. I'd definitely have to get some sort of work visa and strip over the border in Niagara Falls.
I wish choosing a place to live were more simple. Bf and I can't make up our minds! Wherever it is, the weather can't be too heinous, the cost of living has to be do-able and I'd like to make relatively decent money dancing without having a bunch of illegal immigrants trying to grope my cooter. I could settle for $200-300 a night average if I didn't have to put up with too much crap or pay ridiculous rent or mortgage payments.
I have always wanted to live in New Orleans because I love the culture and weather so much, although I never would now. I almost moved there years ago, but waited and then moved to LA instead. I might have been swept up in Katrina's wake if I had!

Bridgette, why wouldn't you want to move to Atlanta?

Somewhere with Mountains and clean air, Denver maybe, Anywhere in CO or Spain , my husbands whole family is there and something about just picking up and starting fresh sounds so appealing.
