    Default Austin colorists

I'm looking for a good colorist in Austin, and would prefer one who is skilled in Baliage ( french style of coloring, where they paint it on top of hair, and is not as damaging). I do know of a salon that does it, but the two times I've been there I wasn't thrilled with the results- though they weren't bad.

    So, yeah, I need rec's.

Do you have a Toni & Guy? I love my colorist at the one here. I asked for their top colorist b/c I wanted to make sure my hair was perfect and I loved it. The top colorist is the most experienced and talented so a bit more expensive but totally worth it.

Sorry I don't live in Austin, so I don't have any names. I can ask my girl at T&G here to see if there is anyone in Austin she recommends, I see her at the beginning of next week.

Lisa Huitt does REALLY good color.....she's out in Lakeway. Also there are a few different people at Jackson Ruiz that do great work. Ohh. and Mischa... she is really great as well... she works at Orbitz.

Now.. i don't know if any of these people use the technique you requested but the two I specifically named do outstanding work and have VERY different styles.

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

Pink on south congress is the best IMHO I've been going to them for years. They do alot of work/research to conventions etc. It's a hip salon/boutique/gallery. I heart them sooo much.
