    Default Theoretically...

    Random useless question but...

Say I have discrepancies on my American credit. I stay completely out of the country and EVERYTHING is wiped off. My debts, my failures of payments... etc. I have done absolutely nothing in those seven or so years it takes to clear the slate.

What does my credit score look like? Is it averaged back up? Does it stay low with no reports? Does it go higher?

    Whut?

^^^ my guess would be that your US credit rating will simply cease to exist as your file simply ages away. This theoretically should allow you to start with a 'clean slate' - you will no longer have bad credit, you will no longer have good credit, you will no longer have any US credit history at all ... I think.
