But at the same time, meh.

Ugh this happened to me when I worked at a club 20 minutes from my home. It was horrible. I suggest you find a club further from your home. I am comfortably an hour from my hometown now, in a 21+ club. Sweet relief I tell you!
I ran into a guy from highschool at my club a couple months ago. It felt weird at first, and I know he probably told people I knew, but really....there's nothing you can do about it. He knows, you can't stop him from running his mouth.

My first boyfriend (from like middle and high school) came into the club I was working at in Nashville on afternoon. He didn't know I was a stripper, and it was really uncomfortable.
Not exactly the same, but at least you don't have your own current classmates seeing you naked! I'm an art model at school, and several times I had to model for classes with students from my other classes. Now that's a little awkward, modeling for someone and then seeing them in class the next day!
I hope that little story makes you feel at least slightly better for having to run into that weirdo.

I moved after HS so I dont run into people down here. But when I worked at home I ran into a few people but they were girls. One even wanted a job there but was too shy to audition. LOL Yea this job takes balls. Do your current friends not know what you do? I had people come to see me once at the club (cuz I was dumb and told them where I worked) and I acted professional and told them I have to go work and cant hang out long. I almost pretty much blew them off....I was at work needing to make money.

seeing people from high school is funky.
almost all the times i did see someone, they spent money on me.
but one time, one asked me to lend him the $ to buy a beer... are you fucking joking me????

Since I work in my hometown, I run into alot of people I went to school with. It doesn't bother me at all because it is kinda my way of saying "Look at me, I hot now!" I wasn't what you'd call a "looker" in HS. I was lucky to get one lokk let alone a 2nd...so when guys come in that I crushed on in HS, they never recognize me until AFTER I have emptied their wallets! Then I say to them "Funny how you wouldn't give me the time of day back in HS, but here you are giving me all your money!" *wink*, then I clue them in and watch their jaw drop!![]()
I had on ex bf from highschool come in one night, bought a bunch of dances, then came in the very next night and brought his DAD!!I still wasn't weirded out though!
Monday night I did several dances for this guy and then we were talking about where we were from. Turns out, my best friend's dad is his cousin. To me, that was a little weird, but he looooved it and could talk about nothing else. He came back last night and spent even more money. Then he tried to get me to go back to his hotel room with him. I'm really glad he was only in town on business for a few days. It was odd.

but if i did work around where i went 2 school and i saw people i knew...i wudnt care! especaily if it was some bitch who thought she was better than me...she can see how now im hot n makin money! or if it was some guy who dumped me or didnt return my crush - it's like "HA!". lol. childish a bit, yes, but hey!
but i can understand how it would be annoying...esp if u dont want any family to know and the word gets around

Money Makes Me Horny
LOL I can relate, and I know the feeling of exhiliaration that you must have felt!I had something remotely similar happen, only instead of it involving former high school classmates, it involved a few guys that I'd met while out with friends at a popular bar/restaurant a year prior. They'd snubbed me then, and then a year later they got to see me looking all hot with better hair, new boobs, making "real" money(I was working stupid retail last time they saw me), etc.
But as far as my high school classmates go? THANKFULLY I did not ever run into any of my old classmates, and I would have been mortified if I did. I grew up in a very small, sheltered town where people are rather narrow-minded. I didn't want gossip spreading around and getting back to my family, whom were very strict. Admittedly, I also didn't want my classmates seeing me go through all those years of stellar grades and high SATs, and then see me not even using my education. (A lot of customers whom I didn't know already used to rudely say, "Oh, you went to college but now you're here" or "Ah, couldn't find a job in your field?" so it was a weak spot for me)
