    Default Professional athletes...

Wow I've always thought they were cheapo's, expecting something for nothing. I sit down with this guy, he's friendly enough and I ask him for a dance. He says, " Can I get 1/2 off?" 1/2 off?? Dances are only $10. I said, "1/2 off? Dude that's only 5 dollars, are you serious?" He replies, "But I'm a baseball player." Like that means something to me. I said, "I don't give a fuck! You have bling in both ears, if anything you should pay more! I know you make more money than I do!!"

He ended up getting one dance at $10, but I was shocked! They always come in and expect girls to hang out with them for free, but this takes the cake!!

Oh god. What an ass. Why is it people with money or fame always think they are entitled to free stuff?
I would have charged his ass double. No....I woudl have made him feel like a piece of shit for only wanting to be able to afford $5 for a dance.

Whats amatter honey? Bad season? Coach won't let you play? You that bad of a baseball player you cant afford $10, so you gotta ask for discounts? Poor thing.....
unfortunatly, I dont work for charity.
Maybe you shoudl get a second job at Mc donalds to suppliment your income, or try a career change and do something that your GOOD at.

There has only been 2 atheletes I've ever had an experience with. When one came in, his friends would make it "rain". And while I'm not a big fan of the flying money thing on stage, I would always make $300-$400 a set. (Which is kinda weird cause I don't do the booty thing, like the other girls who got money) But he got traded. Then there was a baseball player that I went to VIP with for a couple hours. Oh, but his lawyer paid, not him. Imagine that........... I swear. Between atheletes and musicians......

Oh G-d, actors do that too. I fucking HATE that! We'll have coffee on set, but they don't want coffee, they want Starbucks. Fine, there's one next door, we'll send a PA to get some. "Oh, I don't have my wallet. Can you just get it?" WTF, no! You're making half a million dollars on this show and I'm barely pulling minimum wage. I am NOT buying you a fucking $8 coffee.

Robert Rodriguez wrote a book Rebel Without a Crew, where he describes his humble beginnings and then being discovered by Hollywood. Once he's discovered, the studio people are giving him everything he wants just for the asking. He writes, "When I was broke I couldn't afford to buy anything. Now I have money but everything is free." It's the paradox of our culture; people who already have money never have to spend it. So they develop an entitlement mentality.

Pisses me right off. $5 for a lapdance? Fuck that noise.

OOOooohhh! You play BASketball! I didn't realize! As it happens, we do have sliding rates for war veterans, the homeless and professional athletes [wipe away a tear]. It's just [gulp] tragic to us that there are people out there that can't afford food, shelter and lapdances.

I only have come in contact with several of the metrostars players here (pro-soccer team out of the tri-state area). Just a really nice guy to sit and hang out with in the champagne room. He was probably the most laid back guy I've ever had in the CR.

Although I can see many athletes coming in and thinking they're entitled to something. I can't stand people who think like that.

I've made good money off some pro athletes, and there are others who won't spend a dime. I tend to ignore them mostly though, because most either have some stupid sense of entitlement OR have a chip on their shoulders.

from what i've seen, they are 100% hit or miss. half of them are like latina rose described, but the other half are big money and treat their entourage like crazy, as well as themselves.

    Love it!

Of course all the pro athlete's I've met (Eagles players, non of the really superstar types though,) have been douches. But there was a girl who had a Phillies player as her regular at my old club, and when he would come in, they'd go back to the champagne room for the whole night. From like 9-1 or 9-2. When can I find one like that???

Apparently Michael Jordan came in our club about a month ago and only got a couple dances & paid the minimum price (didn't tip the dancer) and only tipped the waitress like 3-5%! And we have great wait staff, especially in the dining room where he was sitting. I heard he had a tab of like $1000 and barely tipped the waitress. Same thing when Dennis Rodman came in a few months ago.

Oy. No shit. Businesses of all kinds trip over themselves to offer all kinds of discounts and freebies to people with money just to get the account, but charge those who really can't afford it through the nose. How much sense does this make? No wonder alot of people with money are some of the biggest tightasses

HA, I have seen Dennis Rodman at the club too. What a total dumb ass! Throws a bunch $1's on the stage( the only cash he spent) and then kept constantly getting up on the stage with dancer and and trying to dance. The bouncers had to keep going up and getting him down, repeatedly.

He never got any dances and the WORST part was that all these dumb girls kept following him around for FREE, thus encouraging more stupid attention seeking antics.

We all know Rodman has no money, but yet his stupid ass is always in the strip clubs!

    Loser!!!!!!

Word, they're cheap! We've got a lotta pro golfers coming in now in DFW due to the Byron Nelson Tournament, and I danced for one last week and then had to get a lil nasty to make him pay up. I wasn't even aware who he was till a girl came up to me backstage all like 'You know that guy was a millionaire right?' She seemed shocked I had demanded he pay me *gasp* Then I was even more miffed he'd tried to stiff me knowing he was loaded.

Yeah, athletes don't impress me either. Two of the Green Bay Packers came into a club I was dancing at once and they didn't tip anyone a single dollar or buy any dances. I didn't talk to them, but I kind of wish they would've asked me for a discounted dance. Then I could've said something like "Well, maybe if you guys would win a game once in a while..."
