I use the cholesterol stuff too. I got the Olive version. My tub came with an extra 25% free. But I've already had like 4 deep conditioning treatments out of it and it's not even a 3rd gone... It truly is awesome!!!!

    Some other fave drugstore products:

    Dove face wash
    Olay quench body lotions
sally hansen diamond shine top coat
    loreal sublime self tanner
    neutrogena (spelling?) mineral eye shadow
the cover girl liquid liner in the felt tipped marker pen
styli style (spelling?) flat eye pencils!!!

if its a flop i'll post it but for pretty cheap ..and their little jars of shea butter were only 8.00 .. other real shea butters are more like 15$ but these little 3.99 soaps seem really good especially if you dont need alot of lotion afterwards
You know that reminded me, I had a link to a site that the costs of the shea butter were in fact given back to the African women who make the product.

I don't want to buy from any place that makes them work and not compensates them. I guess I'll have to dig through my old magazines to find what company that was.

Its a rich thick deep conditioner. You can find it in most drugstores or supermarkets in the ethnic hair care section

Trader Joe's is the absolute best for cheap products:

My faves are their mosturizing creams for very dry skin (3.95)

    and

Their make up removing towelettes (3.75)

Also, their cheap red wine (Charles Shaw aka 2 buck chuck for 2.99) is a great de-stressor

MadameMadeline.com has most Ardell lashes from $2-$2.50 each, depending on how many you get.

I usually buy olay makeup removing cloths and they work fine, but my store was out of them so i tried the Garnier Nutrisse ones and they are fabulous! They smell great and one tiny little cloth will take off all my makeup including eye makeup. At CVS this week you can buy 2 for 5.99 each and get 10 extra bucks on your receipt to use on whatever, so they are just .99 cents for both, that made my day!, lol.

One of my favorite cheap products is regular baby oil. If you rub a little into your skin after you've washed up in the shower, it makes your skin real soft and it actually clears up breakouts (but only if you put it on after you've washed your face and body). Plus it's the best makeup remover I've ever used. Just put a little on a wipe and it'll take off anything, even waterproof makeup, and it conditions you're skin. Hella cheap too!

I have a few cheap products that I swear by and recommend all the time.

Cold Cream - eye makeup remover. Some people use it all over but if you have oily or sensitive skin you may want to only use it on your eye area.
Baby Oil gel - water proof eyeliner and mascara remover
Monistat Soothing Care chafing relief powder/gel - makeup primer it sounds crazy but it is better than my smash box photo ready primer it has more silicone and it does not irritate sensitive skin at all. Also $8.00 vs $40.00 (estimated) its worth a try ladies I promise.
    Wet N Wild eyeshadows
    Revlon lip sticks

I tend not to buy beauty products at drugstores, because I don't like too many chemicals/parabens/mineral oil/other crap in my products.

Except mascara. You'd be INSANE to spend $25 on Dior mascara, because they're all exactly the same, IME. Then again, I'm fortunate enough to have eyelashes so thick, dark, and long, I look like I'm already wearing mascara. So maybe it's different for girls who need more of that, idk.

    Anyway, natural health stores.

I LOVE Nature's Gate haircare line. Dirt cheap, all natural!

BWC (Beauty w/o Cruelty) is a winner for skincare.

there is an amazing honey and ground cinnamon mask that I found yesterday. mix and let set in fridge for a few hours. apply to face and let sit. As your body warms it up it "melts" and feels strange but give it as long as you can and wash off. it works amazing on acne and leaves skin very smooth. My personal favorite is olive oil, caster oil and i add vit E oil. mix in equal parts and massage in to skin and place a hot wash cloth over your face and let steam you can re warm the wash cloth and do it again if you want. once the wash cloth is cool wash face. you would think that it would leave your face oily but it dosent. the castor oil is a cleanser that willl break up and remove dirt and the olive oil and vit e oil replenish your face leaving it smooth and moist. when used once a day there is no need for a face cream and is AMAZING for overly dry skin. there are other oils that can be added to the mixture to help with other issues such as tea tree oil for acne.

I have very curly, frizzy dark mediterranean hair that I heavily bleach. I discovered Suave Keratin infusion by accident, and it is so amazing. A little bit makes your hair feel like silk, and my flat iron glides through it.

    1. Elf brushes - especially the Kabuki brush. It's so soft.
    2. Wet n' Wild eye shadows - they kind of remind me of Stila eye shadows. They're a bit of a hit or miss, but the ones that I love, I really love. My favorites from them are the Belgian Chocolates Trio and the Walking On Eggshells Trio.
    3. Cetaphil Cleanser and Cetaphil Moisturizer - my skin is really sensitive, and they're both very gentle on my skin.
    4. CoverGirl Lash Blast - It seems like everyone either loves or hates this, but I love it.
