    Default I want to sue

I want to sue Great clips.

I have already spent $500 on hair repair, They will end up costing me over $1000 in hair repair, plus I had 2 shoots canceled. I want them to reimburse me for the hair, and reimburse me for the jobs I lost as a result of their incompetance. Do I have a case?

Most likely not. Any defense would say you could leave at anytime and you were watching them do it, so if they started to cut too short you always had the ability to get up, say stop, walk away, etc.

Well, true, but the reson it got so short is because she woudl cut it, it woudl be uneve n so she went aroudn and cut again, still uneven, cut again, still uneven. Abotu 4 times aroudn my head trying to make me even, finally, I guess she gave up, cause it never was even.
Teh first cut she made and showed me and I said yes, that is a good length, but I didnt know she kept going around evening it out, I had no idea it woudl end up that short.

I soo don't have the money Ive spent on the repairs, and I am not finished yet. I want reimbursed somehow. I sent a letter to great clips corporate, and a letter to a lawyer asking if I had a case....

You might have one but it's going to be pretty hard to fight if you actually want money. Like I said, any lawyer is going to say you could have left when she kept going shorter, but you didn't, so how was she supposed to know. I agree it sucks sometimes but that's what is going to be said in this case.

I've seen people sue a hair dresser on Judge Judy, etc. but they only win about 50% of the time. I don't know how it would go if you got a lawyer, though.

More than likely you dont have a case. Because if you werent' happy at the time you could have refused payment for the services and asked to speak to a manager. I've seen people do it before.

Also, its not a service that has a contract to it. There for it's more he said she said.

If you would have refused to pay for the service and say filed a complaint with the manager that day, then all this came about you would most likely be able to file some sorta grievance. But since so much time has passed, I dont think there is much you can do.

It would end up costing you more to get your point across than to move on. ( court fees etc )

I feel for you. ive had it happen to me too, but not at great clips and it was when I already had a pixie cut. So I ended up damn near bald.

I would look up a bunch of websites that do reviews for hair places, as well as modeling sites that give leads to these kind of places. I would tell the place that word will get around that they are bad and business may be lost if you decide to warn others of their shoddy work.
