Default Is $200 too much to spend on a bikini

I am in love with the Beach Bunny swimwear line. Seriously, the sexiest bikinis I have EVER seen. I've never spent this much on a bikini, the most I've spent is $130. Which I didn't mind b/c I absolutely love it and I'd rather spend more on something I love than save on something I like.

This is the one I want:

    Should I get it??

And here's a link to the rest of their line, if you want a seriously sexy bikini, check em out.

^^The "Chio" line is pretty hot too, they remind me of stripper bikinis.

$200 is a bit pricey for a bikini, but that one is absolutely and utterly gorgeous. If I was currently dancing and had the spare income, I'd definitely snap it up.

my answer is yes. however, your bankroll is most likely SUBSTANCIALLY larger than mine (working in vegas) ... so $200 may be a deal.

I spent that much on one. It's covered in Swarovski crystals. For the one in the pic? No. That's way too much for something that's just cloth.

It's adorable, but I'm sure you could find someone to whip one up for you for custom (and much cheaper). You could probably have 4 sets made for that price...

It's lace too, not just cloth. I actually thought it had a lot of detail, no?

I still wouldn't drop that much for it. Unless it's some sort of uber-delicate, really high cost lace... in which case I wouldn't let it near the smoke and booze and take-it-off-put-it-on-hundreds-of-times of a strip club. Lace that high end needs to sit still and be well preserved.

I have spent that much on a bikini for recreation, not for work though. I don't regret it one bit.

Although...recently, my dumb ass went to La Perla at The Forum Shops and I did some damage there.

I can't resist La Perla... too bad the MAC pro store is located in the Forum shops too, so I am forced to take a peak.

I think the bikini is hot and the colors will look really sexy with your skin tone.

Damn, now I am looking at the site too

It's not $200.. it's $198... which means, yes, it's worth it... 'cause it's not like you spent $200 on a bikini, you didn't!!!

    (I'd so buy it)

    Paige-

Also, Swarovski (the company) never made a bikini. Are you talking about a bikini another company made using the Austrian crystals swarovski sells (only if effing Austria though)... 'cause that's HOT. There's a swarovski shirt I want but it's $14k... so the bikini was a GOOD damn deal if you only got it for $200 with those crystals on it, seeing as they're about a buck a piece.

..and omg, the bikini I want is $280.

Yeah some bikini company bought a fuck ton of their crystals and stuck em on bikinis. If Swarovski themselves sold the things, I'd never be effin able to afford them. Ever. Egads. They'd be so overpriced...

Haha, I'd pay it if I could though! That little etching of that swan on my crystals means a lot to me! Of course, I'm also an avid collector. I bet they'd sell it for about 10k, too. Argh! So expensive.

I don't think they're overpriced as such though, since they are considered collectables.

The stuff sold in Austria, however, isn't. That's why it's sold cheaper and that's why it doesn't have the swan.

Sure as hell doesn't stop me from having a bucket full of them to attach to my own clothes though. They shine so pretty. Not like those shitty fake plastic crystals everyone has on their phones or most clothes.

Umm yeah, I'm such a lazy stripper sometimes. But I'm just dancing here on vacation before I go back to Toronto, so my money is just for spending. Which in that case I should just get it. But I don't want to waste my money on something that's not worth it.

Not for work at all!! As you would say, egads!! I would never ever put that beauty in a strip club. For the beach and pool only!

And I love you for that

I think I might just get this one, it's on sale for $119 and its still very hot. And I can get a sexy coverup too. Do you think it's just as cute or should I spring for the other one?

And I just want to post these b/c they are absolutely beautiful. Obviously just for dipping, not swimming and they would be gorgeous if any of you need something for a photo shoot.

^^this one is sheer under those chains.

Oh I really, REALLY hope that it's just overpriced lace, and not the super good stuff then. Salt and/or chlorine? Even worse for delicate lace than smoke and booze.

I tend to tan more and lay out, don't get in the water too much. I wouldn't even consider it if I was planning on putting a lot of wear and tear on it.

I'm definitely gonna get one of them depending on how this week goes. Thanks for all your opinions, I'm convinced the sexiness of it is worth the price now! I'll post pics when I get it.

Miss Marina and danijames - let me know how yours fits, esp the bottoms. I'm always scared they will pinch my tiny bit of fat. It says the lace is stretchy, so I dont know whether to go for small or medium bottoms. I'm gonna check the stores around me that carry the line before ordering online.

I real bikinis that look like stripper bikinis!

Oh and anyone can buy Swarovski crystals and glue them on. I used to do this myself when crystals on jean pockets were really popular. They are called "hot fix flat back crystals" and already have adhesive on the back. You can buy the crystals here:

^Search around for a better price if you want, I used to get them cheaper, but cant remember the site.

    And here is the tool:

It's relatively easy once you get the hang out and the crystals stay on pretty well thru washings, but I would recommend air drying.

Girl, you know it's gonna be a $300 bikini because why would you not buy the matching skirt?

Of course it's worth it. It will bring you easily that much happiness. If you're enough in love with the outfit it's worth the cash. And it's $200, not $2000, so I don't think it's a ridiculous extravagance.
