A few weeks ago a friend of mine (who I chill with regularly) asked me to design some flyers for a show his band was playing in. It was on REALLY short notice (like 2 days), but I thought it would be fun to do and good experience so I busted my ass to get the poster done, even though I had other things I probably should've been working on. He told me they'd pay me. They couldn't pay me too much, but it would at least be something.
So now, a few weeks after, I been busy and haven't talked to him too much. I'm still waiting to a) get the original poster back to put in my portfolio, and b) get paid. I'm guessing that his lazy stoner ass has forgotten that I'm waiting to be reimbursed for the time and effort I put into that poster. Plus I'm flat-ass broke and could really use the money.
How do I casually remind him about his promise without sounding all, "Hey, gimme my money, bitch!"?
I can't say I'm really surprised if he's forgotten.
