    Default streetlight pole dancing

i was walking my dogs like a i do every night and i noticed that the stop signs in my "hood" are perfect stripper poles. So one morning at about 1:30ish i walked down the street and tryed out a few spins and things and it was great. since i dont have a pole in my place this is the perfect practice tool.
im sure some of the neighboors got a great show too

Just don't do it on one of those poles that are sort of square shaped and have holes in it.

    I had bruises for days.

My friends and I were at a playgorund the other day, and while they played tennis, I took off my sneaks, rolled up my jeans and climbed to the top of the swing set and practiced a few inverts.

Luckily, no kids were there, but this one girl did come up to me and ask me how to do that...I gave her the number to my pole dancing teacher.

I did get a few guys that cat called at me as they walked around the nearby track. I laughed it off.

    This one absolutely baffles me:

Did you see the street, just precisely where her right hand is ? Reminds me of Tyrone Biggums, except on the show it was a melted snickers bar.

I'm a New Yorker and I have to say, neva that!

Hey, aren't poles / posts notorious for dogs urinating on them ?

In addition to that, I wonder how many people decided to spit precisely there, not to mention dander and other pathogens :: yuck! :: .

P.S. Check out how the guys in this pic look like cats who ate canaries:

haha, i've done that. i was out and about for my friends bday party and we were waiting for the limo outside of a club and they all yelled "hey summer, go dance on that stop sign"

it was across the street...so i ran my drunk butt over there and went to invert...oops, very dusty dirty pole = rapid decent and NO grip! lolol caught my balance, ran back across the street, only to see a cop ride by real slowly, lolol my husband about killed me!

i could just see this happening...
"ma'am, i'm going to have to arrest you for poleing while under the ifluence..otherwise known as a pui."

    hahaha

I've done tricks on street signs like this, but the most embarassing time was when I was drunk and decided to show an old dancer friend of mine what I had recently learned (called a 'handspring', but mine is a bit of a variation). I did a perfect inverted mount, but unfortunately they were excavating all around the pole I chose to use, being a drunkass at the time, so when I came down my foot went right into the deep hole and I almost fell all over the place. I barely saved it, but it was close to being a serious wipeout.

Then I almost got in a fight with three guys who saw me do it, lol.

i'm still waiting for that video of you pole dancing to come out.

as for streetlight pole dancing, most of the stop signs here are way too slippery to dance on.

Uhm yeah... I haven't messed around with a street sign pole, but one of my favorite parks around here has some perfect poles in the playground.

I don't feel too bad about practicing on a playground since I've only done it at night when there's nobody around. It's kinda funny too, considering there's always little kids there during the day.

Yeah, it does look gross, but I'd probably do it spur-of-the-moment, under the influence of liquid courage. But as for regular practicing, I say do it at the club before hours, or get a pole for home..
But whatever works for you, lisafer.. to each his own
