I found out the hard way last night...do NOT get any aspirin mask up your nose! It was only there for a moment....burns like hell and brought tears to my eyes. I'll have to be more careful instead of just slopping it on like I have been.![]()

^^^Softens the skin, shrinks pores.
Some Douchebag: "[Pimp C] 12:43 am: its true we got to stick together the black people on SW CK you is teh condoleeza of SW"
^^^ and apparently clears your sinuses (on accident) HA!

That reminds me I'm overdue for such a little treat. I'll make sure to keep it away from my nose.
Speaking of noses and skin care, has anybody ever accidently stabbed their brain while vigorously lathering their face? I'm ashamed to admit that's happened to me several times. In my zeal, a soapy pinky just slips up there and F*CK that HURTS!![]()

How do you make these aspirin masks?
8-15 tablets of lite coat aspirin + a few drops of water. (Lite coat aspirin is a Dollar Store staple...)
I finally did it last night & I was thrilled, it worked so well. It cleared up my break out and made my face look radiant.
I have a resealable plastic container. I dumped an entire bottle of noncoated aspirin in and poured in some witch hazel. After letting it sit a bit, I stirred it up and added more witch hazel until it reached the consistency I liked. I keep it under my sink and have a container full ready to go when I am....I just use a tablespoon or so at a time.

Asprin masks always make me sneeze! That's how I know it's time to wash it off. It starts flaking, I start getting it up my nose, I sneeze like crazy and all the mask starts to fall off my face like snow.
But they are so easy and work so well, I won't stop doing them!

does it really shrink up your pores? I will so try this if it does.
I have rather sensitive skin. Would an aspirin mask f*ck up my skin?
Okay, so I'm trying this mask (as we speak) and I have a question...go ahead and giggle at me, I've never done a mask before. So, what consistency is best? and how do you girls apply it? I used my finger tips and it was rather difficult to get it to stay on my skin, it sort of rolled up on me.
Also, how long do you keep it on? Do you just wash it off with water or do you use your facial cleanser or soap to get it all off?

I mix it until it's like a paste. A little drier than toothpaste, I guess.
I just wash it off with water after I'm done.

how long do you keep it on? and do you have to crush the aspirin?
I'm still curious about the length of time myself, but from what I know so far, when you add the little bit of water, the aspirin start to disolve and then you sort of mush it up.
I washed it off when it started to dry out and get flaky. One thing I noticed that i liked, I have some sun damage on my forehead, and the mask seemed to lighten this spot up a bit. Not sure if it was wishfull thinking on my part, but so far so good!
Lightening sun damage? Now I am going to try.
I tried mixing the aspirin with honey (after I had made a thick paste with water) and it stayed on very well, no mess. I think it made my skin softer than using it with just water, maybe because I was able to keep it on longer without it flaking off? Also, I picked up a little plastic jar from walmart for $0.97 that works perfectly to keep it in.
I've been using it with Witch Hazel. Good stuff.
Where can you get witch hazel? I would like to try that too, since my skin is so oily.
You can get it at any drugstore, ie CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aide....
