    Default too tall?

Hi. i've never been in a forum. i've been reading this website and proved it really helpful. i've been dancing since november 06 so u could say i'm still a newbie. however, i have found my comfort zone in the club that i work with. but i am always up for new tips and advice. i have one question. i am naturally 6 ft tall and when i work, i'm all legs. and my height intimidates alot of people but i'm a happy go lucky outgoing person. do any of u have the same thing, and if so, how did u turn it to your advantage? look forward to reading from u!

This is a very common thread. If you scroll to the bottom of this page, you will see "Similar Threads". There's 5 of them there, and many if you do a search.

And don't be afraid to rock the height. I too am 6'0 and wore 7 inch heels. Some little guys were intimidated, but most loved the height and the long legs

When a guy would say "Damn, you're tall! You have such long legs!" I'd say, "Want a dance from these long legs" *wink* and they usually said yes.

Yeah, girl--rock it! I am 5'8 without shoes, and I usually wear 4 inch heels. Some customers say they were intimidated at first, but relaxed once they met me and we had a nice conversation. Just remember to smile!

I think the guys who are intimidated by a dancers height have small dicks and even smaller wallets. Rock it girl! I'm 5'8" and wear 6 inch heels - guys always tell me how much they love my legs!

    ^^^^^ Ahahahahahaha. Best answer ever!

I'm 5'9" and wear 4-5" heels. I think a lot of guys looove the tall girls because of our amazing long legs! I think my height is one of my selling points.

Every now and then though, when I'm walking w/ a customer from his chair to v.i.p. or our private dance couches, the guy will remark "Wow, I didn't realise you're so tall!" I'll cheerfully say "Yup. 5'9", with 5" heels! Right now I'm 6'2"!" Part of them gets intrigued by the heel height. The other half gets turned on by the confidence I've displayed. They become less intimidated. Dances ensue.

I think that as long as you exude confidence, it won't get in your way. I know a girl whos 5'10" and rocks 8" platform boots. Shes always the top earner on her shifts.

    When you're tall, it's like:

How can you NOT notice me?

I am 5'9'' ....and when I first started dancing my height made me a little uneasy too...but everyone who posted above has the right idea...you just have to rock it

Once you start working it your advantage....you can definitely USE it as a selling point.....Now, I the fact that I am one of the taller girls at a strip club

Think of it this way...if a customer at a club makes a comment about your height ( ex: "wow...you are tall!! ") , he has just initiated a conversation w/ YOU and opened the communication lines

Another thing - most guys , especially after a few drinks, simply tend to blurt out comments that often aren't the most appropiate.... BUT that often does NOT mean that he is bothered by it .... it just grabbed his attention...sell him from there

Yep! Being tall commands attention. I always tell girls who worry they are too tall to think of supermodels. They would never shy away from heels and when was the last time you saw a short model??

I wish I were taller! You should totally rock it. I'm 5'5" and I wish I could wear my stripper shoes all the time.

wow. thanks for the great advice. yeah you are right i've never seen a short supermodel sorry it took me a while, but my computer was giving me problems. i only wear 7 and 5 inch platforms. the platform makes things easier. but some nights i smile and am happy as can be and i practically goof off at work but i know what my priorities are, and i still have these nights where it's like no one noticed me to the point of almost ignoring me. i'm sure you guys have had that too right? of course i've only done this for 6 months so there is always room for improvement lol.

Sorry, foxy. You are too tall. Strippers must be between 5' and 5'6. Stop dancing NOW.

J/k. I'm 5'9 without heels and I do just fine. Some things I've learned:

Be sure you stand up straight...so many tall girls slump to disguise their height.

When I approach customers on the floor, I walk slowly...I've noticed that if I walk normal speed in my heels, guys get this panicy look like a train is bearing down on them.

When I approach a customer, I sit next to him or crouch down by his chair while we talk, or else he has to crane his neck to look up at me.

    Good luck. You'll be fine.

Good combacks for smart ass comments about your height. ( pick and choose at will)

How tall -are- you? Honey, I'm so tall you can't climb to the top.
Your tall! No sweetie, your just short. It's okay.

How did you get so tall? I'm from ( insert state here) they grow us strippers tall there.

This is the worst thing I ever heard come out of a guys mouth, so -
Hey! Diden't you use to be a guy? Does that mean I can beat your ass like a guy?

I don't reccomend using the last one, it was posted simply for entertainment purposes only
