    Default Spiderman 3

Anyone going to see it opening night tomorrow?

I usually don't go to see movie that will have huge crowds the first day it's out, but my mom and I only have tomorrow night to hang out, so I bought us 2 tickets off of Fandango to go see it at 8:10pm!!! I'm excited!

Just got back from seeing it with the boyfriend...

Good special effects, good music(I adore christopher young-and am a film music GEEK of the dorkiest kind) Weak story, and i think Toby Maguires put on a bit of weight-he's not as hot as in the first 2 (IMO)

And i'm still trying to figure out if Kirsten Dunst is really SINGING, or if they hired a professional to sing so that she doesnt sound like THAT much of a goofball...

Sorry to hear that, Corsica... We all have those moments---I got so screwed up on my dates, last weekend i started making plans with teh boyfriend to go see it, we went on to get showtimes and discovered I was a week early... Embarassing, but at least it didn't cost money... Hopefully it'll be worth it when you do see it, and you'll have better luck next time... 42$ isn't that bad...

But yeah, i thought it was may 5, until i discovered may 5 is a saturday-releases are almost ALWAYS on friday.... so i assumed it would be the FRIDAY of the week, and i was right.... haha that probably makes no sense so I'll shut up now...

    SOOOO I just got back...

This movie blew me away. It got me in all the right ways.

It's not the comic, I don't want it to be, but it elicited all the powerful emotions that I remember from my childhood.

They packed so much into it and they STILL didn't make it about Spider-Man. That's why I love it. It's about how human Peter is, and how, even with all his fuck ups, he's still more a man than I.

He makes stupid mistakes that are typical of just a non-thinking male that will make your heart break, and he takes himself to the edge and back many times.

They did Venom SOOOO well. Sandman was great... and I saw something in the movie I really REALLY wish I would have seen in those comics.

I wont spoil it but the final fight seen was a heart breaker from beginning to end!

This is just one of those movies you have to see, even if it means going alone. But then again, I really don't need much to keep me warm.

I wonder if Florida has a Borneo like it has a Shell Island...

It's bad when $21 was a splurge to go with your mom because you're broke. I just wanted to treat myself....

I've seen it at IMAX on the opening night. It is such a great movie. I love the scene when Stan Lee was talking to Peter Parker.

    Peter's boss was hilarious

They will make a Spiderman 4,5,and 6. But the previous casts only signed up to spiderman 3. I hope it's still Tobey on the next spiderman.

Every single review I read/heard today tore this movie to shreds. I'll probably wait for the DVD.

You gotta see the first two. They help explain the story as you watch. They are worthy DVD rentals.
I was gonna go see this last night but all the movie theatres around me were sold out until like 11pm.

My husband gets back from his deployment this coming Thursday, so we are making plans to go see this movie friday or sat. We saw both of the previous spidermans together, so this has become kinda a trend for us. I cant wait to see it, even if for the only reason that I get to see a movie with my hubby again!

We have a drive in, but the movies start at 7pm and it's still too light out to see anything .

Well, I'm off to the movie!

Okay. As far as comic "super heros" are concerned I'm in favour of Batman and Wolverine. So I'm biased. I'm not a big SpiderMan "person".

The movie was entertaining to me. No I honestly swear that was NOT Dunst singing in that scene... yeah right! Unless I'm proven otherwise, I doubt she can sing that good.

I liked how Spidey grew some balls by being all dark and stuff with the black spidey suit... just that .. well.. yeah... i'm more waiting for pirates to come out and another batman movie.

I went to see this one as my flatmate has this thing that he can't stand to see movies by himself so he shouted me the admission so he could go see it.

I liked Bruce Campbell. Go Evil Dead! "Hail to the King, baby!"

And Venom reminded me of two Mortal Kombat characters with his teeth. They must all go to the same dentist

Oh and the guy who plays Sandman in the movie... oh wow has he been working out! Last time I knew him he was playing a character called Ned ... anyone remember that?

LJ, I have a drive in about half an hour from me in Warwick, NY (one of my fave towns ever).

We need to make a double date one night this summer!

As far as Spiderman goes, hated the first two and B is dragging me to see this one sometime this week.

I liked the first 2 Spiderman movies, but really more for the villains and the special effects. I used to like Kirsten Dunst, but I think she is just too whiney and mealy-mouthed for me as Mary Jane. I mean, if I was Toby, I'd throw some web at her and seal her mouth shut. I read somewhere that they made her wear a padded bra for S3...
Silly, you can still have a "date" with your boy!

I like KD in other things (Virgin Suicides and Marie Antoinette especially), but with these, I was just so not impressed. Hope it gets better with 3.

I enjoyed the movie last night, but it irks me that they ended it setting us up for the next sequel.

I was too high on cotton candy, popcorn, and chocolate covered raisins to complain though!

I would have enjoyed it more if the theatre's audience wasn't the rudest audience I've ever had the displeasure of joining...

I was in the land of mullets, but suprisingly, they were very well behaved.
